With all the UNC talk going on, I have read a few posts about people not sure of who is coming up in future years for Tennessee. Maybe this thread will help those who are not sure. Here are some non-conf games scheduled for the future as of now...

Cincinnati
Middle Tennessee

2012
North Carolina State(@ Atlanta Georigia Dome)
Troy

2013

@Oregon
South Alabama

2014
@Oklahoma

2015
UAB
Oklahoma
@Connecticut
@Memphis

2016
Connecticut
@Nebraska

2017
Southern Miss
Nebraska

2018
Ohio State

2019
@Ohio State

The 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015 OOC schedules are a joke. We only play two good teams in total in those four years. It's looking to me like the administration is adopting the Notre Dame philosphy of late: play only one good OOC team each year.

The game at UCONN is utterly moronic. Absolutely no benefit will be derived from playing that one.

Hammy is banking on the world ending in 2012 or he will have to cancel series against OSU and OU! Book it! Bring on USC... I mean USC Santa Barbara... Is that even a school?

Like surviving the sec isn't bad enough. The sec schedule alone delivers no cupcakes at all anymore.

I reallly dont understand why people are complaining about us dropping UNC & our future schedule. If we had kept UNC on our schedule for next year & started off 1-3 or 2-2 then the fan base would have went crazy claiming that Dooley needs to be fired & that he isnt the right man for the job. MH & Dooley are doing whats best for the program & right now thats to win games, we still play #11 ranked Oregon this year, Cincinnati ( defending Big East Champs ) in '11, NC State ( in the Atlanta on National TV ), '12 @ Oregon ( one of the toughest places to play on the West Coast & they will be ranked ), then in the following years Oklahoma, Nebraska, & Ohio State.

How many SEC schools do you see putting quality opponents like that on their schedule year in & year out? Not many.

Also MTSU is no pushover next year, their building a very good football program out their in Middle Tennessee.

How quickly most fans forget that we were 5-7 just two seasons ago and had a trainwreck losing record just two seasons prior to that. It is not like we are part of the elite members of college football over the past 5 years.

MTSU and Cincinnati are both rated as stronger and better teams coming into the season than we are.

MTSU sure as hell isn't. MTSU is somewhere south of the top 100, we're somewhere between 35-55 from most of the rankings I've seen.

Also, we had a home and home vs. NCState for 2012 and 2013 that was replaced by the Chik-Fil A game... not sure what happened with the second game.

Really? What would you consider a 1-11 or 2-10 Vandy team this year?

They went to a bowl game recently. Ky is getting better. Ms st. I think will get better. The sec isn't a joke. Vandy has been playing a lot teams close the last few years.

Some people have blown this entirely out of proportion.
On the radio today I swear you would have thought we surrendered WWII.
