I do alot of fantasy football and number things. I always like to compare us to our opponent. Will do a real quick simple breakdown. As most of you know fantasy awards points for pretty much everything (rushing yards, turnovers, extra points, etc).
Tenn average this season: 86 points
Ohio average this season: 124 points
Going by that Ohio is plus 38 points on us. Now I know its hard to compare those equally given strength of opponents. So after we factor in FPI, rankings, etc. things swing back our way as it should. For instance Tenn's average opponent FPI is 51 to Ohio's 106. After throwing in all the other factors Tenn is +17 when its all said and done.
We did actually have 1 common opponent last year. Bowling Green. We won 59-30 and scored 138 fantasy points. Ohio lost 24-62 and scored 84 fantasy points.
So in the end if both teams play close to their performances so far this year and our opponents ranking averages are accurate we should win by 17.
