Ten Thoughts going into the Montana game

I enjoyed... it thank you. I had a lot of the same thoughts. Especially about the offense. If Bray throws it 20 times Saturday I will not be too happy about it.

Wouldn't matter to me as long as he doesn't throw too many incomplete passes or picks.

Disagree about the offense. At least 49 points, deep balls thrown.

There's nothing complex about running a simply fly route and chunking it or play action passing. You will see plenty of deep throws Saturday Night.

Also, Marlin Lane is going to return some punts, and he is spectacular.

I think the number to look for here is 30 instead of 20. 20 pass attempts is not alot of passing at all, and personally I would like to see some passing so they can get into rhythym before the schedule gets tougher.

I'm not worried about an exact number of attempts since it's hard to say how many plays we'll run but I would like to see it balanced. So if we were to run 70 plays somewhere in the 35 pass attempts range would be fine. I know it's very rarely completely balanced since play calling is situational. Even if our OL is good enough to run it every play I still think we need to get the passing game equal work for future games. JMO.

"He might not be an All-American type player, but that’s not what Tennessee needs."

Ya kinda lost me on this piece of logic.

I've been wondering about our slot situation. I would like to see DeAnthony come out big since it was such a huge deal when we recruited him, but I've been under the impression Zack Rogers was our guy

Tennessee just need a solid DT who can hold their blocks well and can penetrate the offensive line. They don't need a superstar at that spot with Malik Jackson.

Should have clarifiend better.
