1. First, I want to establish that the team i hate the most is USClite because of the abomination they bring to SEC athletics. Vandy at least makes us look smart, and UK is good in basketball. USClite is worthless. Now we cleared that up.

2. Big game for Crompton. Good game and everyone is on his side. Bad game and it just reiterates what everyone thinks.

3. I am not too worried about Eric Norwood getting to the QB. If we can protect Crompton against Bama like we did, we will be fine.

4. Gerald Jones has emeraged as a big play guy. Hopefully he continues to live up to the hype like the last three weeks. Also, I've been impressed with D.Moore.

5. We have got to get to the QB. No sacks last three games. We cannot afford zero sacks against Garcia. We have to get to him early and often.

6. In the red zone you have to watch for pump my gas jeffrey. He's a beast down there. He has a heck of a motor in the red zone. Shade a safety over on that side and see if you can pick one off.

7. We need to establish the running game better. The last two games our run game has not been good. Its more of the lack of depth at O-Line, but we have to run this weekend.

8. USClite loves to blitz. See if you can beat them with some screens/draws and get some big plays.

9. Lincoln, this is your chance to win back Volnation. Good game and we understand it was the injury. Bad game and expect Crompton-like criticism. I'm actually praying it doesn't come to you to be honest.

10. I think this USClite team is overrated. I think their D is good, but their O is not, and they do not have a good run attack. Our corners can contain their WR's and I truly believe if we run the ball better, we can put up points on this team. I'm goin UT 27-10.

Go Vols! :hi:

Better fix the spelling in your title.

#5 No sacks since the Florida game, so it has been 4 games

#7 I don't know if you watched the Georgia game or not but the run game was good. 162 yds total and 97 for Hardesty.

Mod, fix my title! lol.

yes, but take away Hardesty's 39 yard run and he ends up with 19 attempts with 58 yards. not good. Also two WR runs went for 26 yards.

Good point, Brown did only average like 2.5 yards a carry that game.

Playaction and rollouts should be effective again. One thing I haven't noticed much at all is draw plays. Draws would do well against blitz happy USCocks linebackers.

Dude come on. You can't stand there and tell me your not worried about Norwood at all. I'm not gonna lie, I'm worried about berry. Garcias played well so far with keeping the INTs to a minimum but I know when a qb is throwing, berry is like a hawk and the ball is a fish.

#2- What does "everyone" think? I don't believe we all think the same thing concerning JC.

I look at the Bama game and see a guy who can play. You apparently still question that notion.

I'm worried about Norwood getting picks, forcing fumbles, etc. but not about getting to the QB all night long like against Ole Miss.

Everyone thinks that he's the ultimate headcase that we don't know when he will show up. Plays well against USClite and that is gone.

Yea he's been double teamed a lot lately and hasn't had a sack in 3 or 4 games. He's making his prescence felt elsewhere though and still making plays for us. Unfortunately he dropped what would have probably been a pick 6 last weekend and got unlucky that vandys qb got that one ball away that was a shuffle pass cuz he took that one to the house!!! Damn! Lol

Nope. Not everyone.

The ultimate headcase would have curled up in the fetal position vs the #1 D in the country instead of driving the team down the field with some excellent throws and time management... putting them in a position to score the winning FG.

Anything can happen. Maybe he will have an off game... but he should get his dues for what he did vs Bama. That should buy him some respect.

There are no guarantees. Do I think JC in general terms is fixed? Yes. I really do after what he did at Bama. Do I think he could still have a bad game? Of course.

The question is whether he is as mentally tough as I'm hoping... He seems to be. He had a pick early vs Bama and played right through.

Worried about Norwood - Nope
Worried Crompton won't have a good game - Nope
Worried about the score - Nope

Norwood won't be a threat - Crompton is seeing the field better and better. The play calling is getting better as Kiffin has figured out what works for our offense. Hardesty and Brown will both have big games. Both have good hands and they will catch a few balls Saturday besides running it straight up the middle.

Crompton will have another 250+ passing game

Our D will cause a lot of turnovers. Berry will get at least 1 pick 6

Final after all is said and done UT-56 SC-6
South Carolina will remember this game as "The Nightmare in Neyland"

And as the shocker Spurrier gives credit to Kiffin and co.

I may be imagining things, but didn't I read in a post yesterday that Lincoln wasn't going to play on Saturday due to injury?

Kiffin said in an interview yesterday that Cunningham's been kicking this week cause Lincoln still wasn't able to go.
