1. Mark Ingram should be the favorite for the Heisman right now. He has flat out dominated.

2. Greg McElroy is John Parker Wilson basically. He won't kill you, but you don't want to win a game with him.

3. Expect a lot of Luke Stocker saturday. With the 3-4 D Bama plays, and a bunch of different blitz that they have, Stocker needs to find the open lanes and JC needs to hit him.

4. I want to see if Bryce's hip is finally healthy. He hasn't looked healthy really at all and hopefully the week off helped him.

5. Hardest should get 25 carries Saturday. If not, we're in big trouble.

6. We cannot afford zero sacks like the last two weeks. We could afford just having pressure, but we have to actually get to McElroy.

7. I'm not too worried about Julio Jones. He's banged up, and we did really good containing A.J. Green.

8. The O-Line has to play well. We cannot let Cody get in the backfield.

9. Rolondo McClain seems to be in the perfect spot on every play. Run some misdirection and middle of the field passes to neutralize him.

10. I think Bama is the best team in the country. They can beat anyone in the country. I think Bama is just too talented, too disciplined, too focused, and too deep for UT to win.

Boo hoo hoo boo hoo hoo...come on man i think bamas solid but as a fan u cant go into the game thinkin we are going to lose..that takes all the fun out of it especially since we are in the situation we are in right now..We have a good run game and a good defense, if the defense can STAY OFF THE FIELD we can win..Go vols

this is a different TEAM... see your post at 1. georgia didn't have an ingram to have to worry about on defense

with that said we make the plays to win and crompton continues his good play

Whether I think UT is going to win or lose doesn't take the fun out of the game. Its an opinion.

I agree with most of this but I think there is a small chance we can win. Now it will have to be a perfect day all around, but it can happen.

8. The O-Line has to play well. We cannot let Cody get in the backfield. Cody doesn't get in the backfield. You don't have to worry, he doesn't at all. He clogs the middle. You can mark this off the list. He will greatly effect Hardesty if he goes between the tackles, however.

9. Rolondo McClain seems to be in the perfect spot on every play. Run some misdirection and middle of the field passes to neutralize him. He's like having a coach on the field. He directs the entire defense, unbelievably smart.

10. I think Bama is the best team in the country. They can beat anyone in the country. I think Bama is just too talented, too disciplined, too focused, and too deep for UT to win. We are Tennessee two years from now. Tennessee is just having to go through the crappy part of the 3 years right now. The end of those 3 years are sweet though, you'll see.

Birmingham and Rev have portrayed their school well. I know some have given them a rash of crap but they have handled it well. VN has had some real tools from the Gators and the Barn who came on here and irritated alot of the nation.

Tennessee can win if they have a good game from Crompton (long shot though), Berry gets a pick six (he is due), and NuKeese returns his first punt or kick off for a TD(he has been getting close). We are going to need big plays like that to get the upset. I have faith in the Defense to contain Ingram (not stop him). Pressure, Pressure, and more Pressure on McElroy!!! I'm still on the Lane Train!

don't mean to flame, but every team we play says this.. but it doesn't happen. He is never out of position, regardless of the play call. If he is, he has great teammates to back him up. The best bet for TN is to just get a lineman to the second level to block him on running plays as quickly as possible.

If Appy State can beat Michigan, you can't say the Vols don't have a chance. But realistically, it's gonna be tough just staying in the game with arguably the best team in the country. I just hope we play hard, get our kicking game in order and don't quit. As long as we don't quit, we'll be okay.

that's always the best way to do it, but i don't know if we can. we need our FB's rly big in this game.

I want to say that I am a BAMA fan but really respect UT for the intensity they have shown this year especially on defense. BAMA really needs to work on their passing offense more. Yes I admit I worry about a team with a good defense putting 8 in the box and stopping our running game. Can we win a game against a good defense on passing alone? I believe and hope that BAMA will get the victory but I think it is gonna be a tough defensive battle. Good luck to your team as well.

I haven't heard anyone say the Vols have no chance, but there is a small one. That's how it is.

Let me tell you a 100%, STONE COLD LOCK...

Nuke will take one to the house. Our kickoff coverage is A-W-F-U-L-! Nuke will have 100yds on returns. He's amazing. Players who are far from amazing break 50 yd returns. Nuke will take 1 and then not get kicked to again.
