Ummmm, we have seen him in the court. That is not a random uninformed opinion
It's a fact based on an the information that we have seen. He lacks any explosion, quick twitch or anticipation and instincts to protect the rim. Doesn't mean he can't possibly hold his own as a defender. But he won't protect the rim (aka shot blocker).

And how many minutes total last season after red shirting and then getting a late start this past year? What you see initially from many players is not what they become.

You are welcome to hang onto that idea of you would like. Those attributes that you need to be a shot blocker, the ones he doesn't have, are not things that players typically add. A lot of it is natural ability. He can improve those things. But not enough that he will become a Kyle Alexander type rim protector.

I said let him have a chance to succeed or fail before you give him the thumbs down on his career. I didn't say he definitely would or wouldn't succeed, so just keep saying things I didn't say. How about re-reading instead of spewing the flatulence.
