10) Vlad the Impaler is back. We will basically have our starting O-line back as Sullins had beaten out McNeil during fall practice before the knee injury.
9) We actually may have a better QB than Bama. Jon's numbers have steadily improved and his turnovers have decreased over the last four games. McElroys progression has been the opposite.
8) Two weeks to prepare and well rested. Despite the final score Alabama had a tough game with USCe.
7) We have played a big game already on the road against UF and didn't get rattled. The Vols will not be intimidated.
6) Monte Kiffen can coach. This is no John Chavis that McElroy, Ingram and co. will face.
5) Injuries. Alabama has lost their second best defender in Hightower. As much as we loved Nick Reveiz. Savion Frazier is bigger and faster and can take on #22 in the hole.
4) This year we have some playmakers that can turn in a big play, and are overdue.....Nu'Keese, Brice Brown, Oku, Eric Berry....
3) Pressure...all on Bama....none on the Vols....17 point dogs!
2) Receivers. We may not have a Julio Jones (who is injured) but they are stepping up. Plus all our backs can catch the ball coming out of the backfield.
1) Finally......drumroll..........God hates cheaters!!!!!!!

Very good points. As i've said consistently...with a strong performance from Crompton and receivers, we win every game. We would have won every game we've had. I don't think people realize that we were just 3-4 players away from winning some games, and 1 player away from being undefeated. Anyone who looks at our 3-3 record and says we are horrible obviously has not watched any of our games.

I hope we do win. We have the talent and the coaching. Just gotta get out there and do it.

You had me nodding for a few points...but I have to make a point.

-The head coach of the University of Tennessee is Lane KIFFIN. Ironically, his father, Monte, spells his last name the exact same way.

I don't want to make this an english room, but really? It would be just like an Alabama fan coming on here and bragging about his coach Nick Saben. How credible is he then?

I do agree that Monte and the entire staff will have our men prepared, but playing #1 ranked Bama in their house is no cake walk. Lets see which Crompton appears, and how we handle being "hit in the mouth" for 60 minutes.

I agree, i love Tenesee Volantears and i think Coach Kiffen is going to be here a long time with his uncle Monte Hall running the defense..

I think that Tennessee's defense will do a solid job for at least the first half but I could see them fall apart if their offense cant keep them off the field. I don't really see them moving the ball on Alabama, and even without Hightower they may be the best defense in the nation.

I think the way Tennessee wins this game is by winning the turnover battle. Otherwise I think it will be close then Alabama will pull away at the end of the game. Don't think it will be as big of a difference as the spread but who knows.

good points. Who cares if he spells it right you get the dang picture.

I agree, but I think it is more of a respect deal. It ticks me when someone mispronounces my name or spells it incorrectly. However I think rockydoc deserves the benefit of the doubt that it could have been a fat finger foul up while typing.:hi:

Good points except for the fact that Savion Frazier is not as big as Nick Reveiz and does not know the defense as well as Nick.

And here's an opposing viewpoint:

10. It doesn't matter who is back on your offensive line, Bama's defensive line is better.

9. Only in your world is Crompton better than McElroy.

8. Two weeks to rest is as likely to mean "rusty" as it is to mean "rested". Besides that, Bama is a deeper team and needs less rest than UT.

7. You played a big game, on the road, and lost. Arkansas played them closer than you guys did. Bama played a big game, in Atlanta, against VT and won. They've also won every other game, some of them against ranked teams.

6. Monte Kiffin can coach. So can Bud Foster. So can Nick Saban and Kirby Smart. The difference is, Bama has the players to execute.

5. Bama did lose Hightower. Fortunately, LB was our deepest area. There has been no dropoff since we lost Danta.

4. You have some skill players. So does every other team. Being "overdue" just means they haven't done anything yet.

3. Pressure all on Bama - I'll give you that. I don't think these guys feel the pressure though.

2. You think your receivers are stepping up because they had an ok game against UGA, one of the worst defensive teams in the league. Bama leads the nation in defensive pass efficiency rating at 83.85.

1. Then you're in the same boat as us.
