Screw Giles, Oku is better than him anyway.

Oh and I hope Drayton is looking for a job elsewhere. The only reason he was kept around was the possibility of getting Giles.

Yes. He actually said this....

“Tell Tennessee fans I’ve got love for them still"

I wasn't sure how to take that.

Giles is simply a megalomaniac.

He says that as if we'd care when he doesn't even consider himself good enough to compete with the 4 tailbacks we have.

the all 3 of our already comitted running backs are better than him: Oku, Williams, and Thigpen

I keep leaving Williams and Thigpen out.

Williams is a solid. Is Thigpen as well? Damien is the fastest of the lot, right?

If so, we have 6 (Hardesty, Creer, Poole).

That guy did not want to compete for the college job. These guys want to play beyond college. I think we'll be fine.

I'll boo him to the high heavens next year in Neyland.

When this class goes their 4 years through Knoxville, he will be regretting his decision.
Along with Holloman, Swearinger, and Gilmore.

He couldnt stand having to compete with Oku or others for pt, that is why he bolted. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Remember to lay on the ground when you fumble and act like you were injured too.

I can't wait until I see this on the TV...

Commentary:
"Giles gets the pitch from Garcia good blocking... ERIC BERRY COMES OUT OF NO WHERE AND DEMOLISHED HIM"

I felt all along that this guy was feeling bigger than the program...when a recruit starts that crap about this coach and that coach and "I am just confused" I say let him go elsewhere. I want a guy to come in to U.T. knowing that is where his heart is and go out there and do his thing.

Giles never impressed me from the beginning...he will regret this decision but I say let him go and forget him. We'll check back in with him when Spurrier is gone and SC is still trying to figure out how to win big in the SEC.

I know they beat us this year, but they better relish that one because it is all they are gonna get for awhile...

Jarvis WHO?????????????????????????

This guy went as far as to say if this coach is retained, then I'll come. That would have created all sorts of issues concerning equity among the 6 other and likely better backs if Giles got more pt in the first place. It just wasn't right.

Thigpen will not play RB. Williams maybe

I agree. I don't think Thigpen was recruited as a RB or will play RB at UT. Although, he is listed as an Athlete so he could. Mark Ingram the freshman RB at Alabama was recruited as an Athlete from Michigan and we all see what he has done this year.

Be easy on the kid, can you honestly blame him looking at TN's tailback position. He's just doing what will be best for him in the long run and that is playing time from the get go. He had enough courtesy to send a shout out to us fans, we should respect that. Lets not become asshats like the Bama fans. Best of luck to him, just watch out for #14.

Hard to blame Giles for going elsewhere, he was going to be playing second fiddle to Oku for the next 4 years! Just watch the video, Oku is a much better RB than Giles!
