I've said before, Teelander has the IQ and smarts to be a great LB.
He just lacks the physical traits.
He would have been really great in a lesser league.
All I know is, twice so far today, Teelander has been the only orange jersey between a running back and the end zone: He put the runner down both times.
He may not be tackling for loss, but he's preventing scores. Good open field tackling.
I’ve had (and expressed) this concern all offseason and all season. I’m not sure why he gets the PT he gets. Spillman needs to develop enough to start over him. I think he should start as he is, but apparently not in the eyes of the coaches.
