Okay then, but his point was proven. Tee doesn't compare to Ainge and Dobbs. In fact, Tee Martin is behind quite a few Tennessee Qb's as far as numbers go. He's even behind JG.I mean, yeah. They all got substantial time all four years they played. Tee only attempted 16 passes his first two years at UT.
How I knewJust a snip
It from UCF forum.
Is that a good thing? You think he just found out about it.its said he reported what was going on. why u hate Tee so much?
Nah, the only hate here is you. Too indoctrinated into the victimized culture to even understand truth. Dr. King would be appalled at the way the black community champions underachievement and plays the pity card everytime they turn around. You are enslaved by your own ignorance.[/QUOT
This guy gets it
My source then said that White and Heupel met privatel. That Heupel had already been putting together a staff. That Tee Martin and Osovet were being interviewed not for UCF, but to see if they would be on Heupel’s staff. That Heupel had been talking to Kevin Steele with the understanding that Steele would be his DC. So with that information I posted the topic. - From that article.
I said this in another thread, you don’t give interviews just to placate someone. You give interviews to fill positions, for a current job, or one that may come open in the future. Time is too valuable to just interview out of a courtesy, that just doesn’t happen anymore. It wasn't that. He just wanted an opportunity to interview for the job and was not even given the time of day.
Sounds to me like the right decision. Nobody knew at the time if Tee was involved or not.Per Jimmy Hyams:
Tennessee WR coach Tee Martin was not promoted to acting head coach after Jeremy Pruitt was fired because UT’s internal investigation was ongoing and attorneys didn’t want 2020 staff members to be named acting head coach with probe incomplete. That’s why Kevin Steele was selected
Sounds like this was a case of being at the right place at the wrong time . I feel sorry for Tee
