I interpreted it as Tee wanted the HC job but got turned down. I doubt he's upset that Heupel is not retaining him. I bet he wanted the big job.

It looks like Tee has gotten both Peerless Price and Albert Haynesworth fired up about him not getting the HC job. They've both posted today about it. I'd guess he's texting all his buddies about what a miscarriage of justice it is that he didn't get the job even though he's shown nothing to show he actually deserves it.

If you'you're gonna speak on it, then speak correctly. Peerless said nothing except that "his Quarterback was hurting". Nothing about a HC position or being passed over. Think it could be that he gave his all? His all to the University that he helped win a NC?

It also put Fulmer in a bad way. And that wasn't counting the fact he hired a coach that failed.

Are you high? Tee Martin was one cog of an entire team that won the NC and other than a few games that year, didnt really stand out as a playmaker at QB. He was good but not great. We won because of our defense and running game and special teams.. .a complete team. He deserves credit for being a good manager in most of the games that year.

As a coach he has a spotty record and hasn't really been that great at USC or Tennessee...ok? sure, NEED TO HAVE on STAFF? ehhhhh

We have some Vols fans who really need to learn to separate what Tee the player did at TN vs what Coach Tee has done at every coaching job he has had. They are two entirely different people & situations.

Coach Tee DOES NOT deserve an interview for the HC position based on his current resume. He hasn't exactly lit it up in any of his previous positions. Furthermore, we were looking for someone with HC experience. Again, Tee doesn't have that.

I hire people for a living, there is nothing disrespectful about not interviewing unqualified candidates. You don't waste the time & resources if you aren't serious about the candidate especially not in a situation like UT has found themselves.
