Tee Martin

Ok, now that is funny.

I posted earlier about how devastated my 6 year old is going to be. Hurd is his favorite player and Hurd talked to him @ B@B. Made his day. My only experience was with the death of the family cat lol

Tee Martin made a decision that was best for him, his family and career. Some of you fools are still bashing him. The immaturity and foolishness needs to stop.

Tee would be a great fit at Tennessee. He already has a whole fan base contingent here that's ready to want him fired.

Kelly will now get to shine. In this situation it is next man up. Kelly is gonna be awesome.

thanks for your insight 34....since AK is still out, who do you see as a sub for JK when he needs a breather...have you had a chance to evaluate Fil-Amine(sp)?

Ya he is fast. They are gonna need to do a lot of designed qb draws though.

34 is this one of the big problems with the team this season ( Hurd ) it is painfully obvious that something has been "off" with the team since game one. And it got exposed when we started losing and injuries left and right. Are there any other team issues? Because right now everything feels like a mess and that Butch is losing his team.

I have a question for 34. But I'll wait until he answers the other 15-20 first.

Remember those remarks he made about Hurd.....

You know, VFL34, you have more FB talent in one finger than I have in my whole body--or ever had--

but this comment by you is absolute HORSE-@#$&!!

It was just LAST YEAR with you posted in a thread about how Jalen is a much better RB than Alabama's HENRY...and how Hurd was gonna be much better in the NFL than him....

And how HURD had a much better upside than Kamara because of his longer stride and power....

And NOW you want US to believe that Tee Martin was RIGHT when he said that HURD WAS SOFT???

BULL--EFFIN'--SHEEET!!!!!

I've watched HURD play in the SEC now for almost 3 years like the rest.....and HE IS ANYTHING BUT SOFT!!!

I ALSO read your post before the BAMA game about how we Tennessee and we GONNA BEAT BAMA.....

I know that you don't have to give a Dang about what I think at all...but until now I really was willing to hear you when you spoke....

But NOT ANYMORE!! Thanks for all that you did for UT on the field and off..and I will always admire you for your team attitude, toughness, and selflessness....

But I can't abide this HORSE-crap HURD being soft....

And a bunch of you dudes better be careful about what is said about HURD.... He is going to play in the NFL...and he is gonna be VERY GOOD.....

You think some of you idiots would have learned something by now from making wrong conclusions about Arian Foster's talent and ability.....

Tee Martin hung around Knoxville for several years hoping to get hired. Do you remember those commercials he made? Stop with the "loyalty" schtick. That's just stupid these days. UT showed no loyalty to Tee (apart from naming a street). Why? Should Tee suck up and wait in a van down under the bridge forever for UT to make him a coaching offer? Hell no! He did what any man with a family should do. He went and got a job. And when he had the opportunity to choose, he, as real men do, chose what was best for him and his family. Loyalty schmoilty. UT had none for him when he needed it. And you crackers running off at the mouth putting him down now deserve none.

Not many questioned Foster's talent and ability. Just his attitude.

That seems to be the majority view of Hurd too now, though I will say the tide turned quickly on Jalen's attitude versus Arian's, which festered and grew over his final season at Tennessee.

Both guys are/were uber-talented, but maybe didn't have the team-first attitude they should've.

And there goes any credibility you had on volnation. VFL34 is exactly what his name says "VFL". He brings alot more to this board than you can ever dream of doing. Go back and watch Hurd's body language on the bench. He wouldn't even voted a team captain. I hate this as much as anyone and it kills me to see him leave but I can't argue with Vfl34 on this.

There are ton's of examples of how these situations turn really good or really bad. Has to do with leaders on the team and coaches ability to "coach". Kelly looks good...better than Hurd has in our system this year. Jalen's made his decision, so all the best to him...we've got to move on. Of the two option choices of 9-3 and still very outside chance @ SEC E, or Dumpster Fire, I choose the former. Butch done a good job building and embracing all things Orange...but finishing the season in strong fashion is going to be his toughest coaching job yet...tougher than the 4 game stretch. He's also got to look in the mirror and see that our play calling needs more creativity.

We all have seen Hurd's toughness running the ball, but I think his mental toughness and attitude is what Tee and VFL34 were Commenting on. Golly!

Any chance most of the Hurd drama related to the team comes from the chatter that Hurd has a drinking problem?
