Great move for Tee if possible. I wouldn't hate him for it, just a little payback on us since Cutcliffe was a Bama alum and bled orange for so long.

and there's another reason why the move makes no sense. Bammers weren't exactly Tee fans when he was at UT

Good thing for Saban that fans don't make coaching decisions. They would change their tune quick if he is hired.

So to all you bashers out there it is ok to see Tee in the ugliest blue my eyes have ever seen but you have a harder time looking at him in Crimson? Why because we can beat UK your not as worried about him being there as learning under Saban? Shouldn't we as fans wanting him to come back to Rocky Top want him to go and learn from the same guy Dooley did so when the time is right and we have an opening we can bring him home?

Any color but the orange is terrible but crimson burns my eyes a little less then that god awful blue!

While I agree with most of your post the honor of ugliest blue would have to be a tie between UNC, the Titans secondary blue or the Chargers throwbacks, why people think that powder blue is a good looking color is beyond me.Myself, I don't really care where Martin or any other former Vols coach, you go where you can better your career and I would do the same thing myself.

Have you forgot he is from Mobile. Maybe he just would like to go home?

Was looking for this being mentioned before I posted it. Yeah, it'd kill me to see him wearing crimson, much like it pains me to see him in blue. But we plucked him out of Mobile roughly 15 years ago and he is the only QB to lead the Big Orange to a NC in most of our lifetimes. I'll not bash the guy.

I think it is hilarious that anyone would be offended or upset by this. Great opportunity for him and Tennessee really. If he continues to climb the chain and is a good coach, and we come a knockin some day its always good to have a coach with inside info, go get em Tee!!!

I'd say it's Tee's contacts in Mobile that might be the sudden interest in him. Saban really doesn't need any help recruiting but Tee wouldn't hurt them in that department.

Good for him, I'd much rather see him at a bigger program than UK regardless of the school or rivalry.

I don't think Tee at Bama would be any weirder than Tee trying to end UK's losing streak against UT.

Good for T, i'd love to see him back in Orange one day. (that said i hope CCB stays for a long time because he is the real deal)

I have to admit going to work under saban will give Tee good experience as Saban will work him to death. Him being from Alabama it makes good sense.

But T will always be a vol at heart.

RT @KySportsRadio: UK coach Tee Martin is a finalist for the Alabama WR coach opening. Would be a HUGE loss if he ends up leaving.
So when is someone going to brand this guy with the 'Bama Fan' label? He's been trolling with Bama superiority crap for years and people always get worked up without seeing he's just like the Gamecock fan that was always talking trash.

It would be weird to see this. But I'd be happy for him, it would be a big upgrade for him to work for the best coach in the country. At least its not Auburn.

Man that would be good for him, but as a VOL for life you have to hate Alabama. It would just be weird

Ken Donahue (UT 1950) was Bear Bryant's D coordinator for years before returning to UT under Johnny Majors in 1983. Some say Ken was most responsible for bama's success under Bryant. Remember-- it was play defense and run the ball in those days, and bama played D. So there is precedence. Donahue; with his Sherlock Holmes hat-----RIP. It was my great pleasure to have dinner with Ken----1986.

he's not the first player in history to go coach for a rival team...it's not a big deal to me unless he goes off the deep end and starts belittling his alma mater, and we all know Tee won't do that

Bill Battle coached at Alabama. David Cutcliffe graduated from Alabama. Phillip Fulmer once got sued in Alabama.
