Tee Martin to return?

The offense Tee learned in college is one UT will be going away from in the future with a new coach. I think a perfect fit for him would be working for Cutcliffe at Duke as a position coach. :twocents:

Just because he played in that system 10 years ago doesn't mean he can only coach in the same system. Tee was also with the Steelers, Raiders and the CFL so I would imagine he has the ability coach qb's in multiple systems.

Nope, obviously he learned nothing at all except Cut's system.

We also have no idea as to what offense the new coach may implement. There more coaches out there than Coach Cut who run Coach Cut's offense.

absolutely. Because with all his years of playing, Cutcliffe's offense is the only he offense he has ever known.

Guys like Kiffin, usually bring in assistants they have worked with before and are familiar with their offense and system. Tee Martin is currently a high school QB coach.

A$$bag, who said he never learned anything but Cut's system? But how many college head coach's are going to go out and hire a high school QB coach to be their Div 1 QB coach? Someone they have never worked with before?

Tee has a great personality and would probably be great in some kids living room talking to the parents...Tee's very respectful and would probably do well as a recruiter...Plus flashing that NC ring at someone doesn't hurt.

I'd like to see Tee back. As a position or position assistant coach. It would be a good thing to bring someone in who knows UT and can relate to the players a little. But that's a big jump from high school to D1 especially a high caliber D1 school.

I wouldn't make him a position coach but it would give him a chance to learn under some good ones before making the big leap to a position coach.

I'm not sure Tee is a fit but at the same time you are acting like he is just some random high school coach.

I'm pretty sure he could learn the new coach's offense and teach a qb how to read a defense, proper footwork and technique.

But of course the new coach will prefer his own people.

Tamaurice Martin is one of the most well renown quarterback coaches in the country. He is a quarterback coach for the Nike Elite 11 Quarterback Camps, Nike Football Training Camps, and has trained many Division 1 and professional quarterbacks.

Martin also coached at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia helping lead the Maroon Tigers to the number 1 offense in their division. Currently, Martin the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterback Coach at North Atlanta High School.

got some experience too,i didn't know that,i'd like to see him get on the coaching staff some way

It would be good to have T. Martin back because he would have already established a working repoir with Tajh Boyd at the Elite 11 camps.

Nice resume. I would not mind Tee coming here as Qb coach. He is not just some high school coach whos only experience is working with local non talented kids. He has handled some high level Qbs already.

If not him, then Andy Kelly. Tee could really help in recruiting Atlanta. Another one to bring back would be Dale Jones as special teams and LB coach.

take him on recruiting visits and make him the official "get back" coach on the sidelines to avoid penalties.
