Tee Martin just said on live television that he wants to return to Tennessee as a coach, be it teams coordinator, position coach, or recruiting coordinator. He said that, depending on the coach and if they wanted to bring him in, he would love to return to Tennessee and he "sees coaching in his future."

Say what you will about Tee Martin, but he did 'back us to a National Championship.

"Hey kid, come play for Tennessee. Afterwards you can make commercials for Ralph Brown and Associates."

I would love to see Tee at UT as a position coach, but unless the new coach has UT ties, it is probably unlikely.

You never know. It could do a new coach without UT ties good to hire someone like Tee in a position that is not extremely critical to success; at least initially in the fans eyes. We'll back whoever is the new coach, but I guarantee you that fans would begin to believe the new coach bled orange if he hired Tee as a position coach.

if Tahj Boyd does come to UT, then Tee might really be able to help him.

Phil Fulmer also "back us to a National Championship"....

I respect Tee, but this doesn't mean anything

Tamaurice Martin is one of the most well renown quarterback coaches in the country. He is a quarterback coach for the Nike Elite 11 Quarterback Camps, Nike Football Training Camps, and has trained many Division 1 and professional quarterbacks.

Martin also coached at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia helping lead the Maroon Tigers to the number 1 offense in their division. Currently, Martin the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterback Coach at North Atlanta High School.

got some experience too,i didn't know that,i'd like to see him get on the coaching staff some way

Doesn't mean anything about coaching, but it means a lot about support from the fans. (Fulmer's wore out, but Tee's has not.) Support of the coaching staff from the fans puts butts in the seats which brings in $ for Hamilton.

I knew he was into coaching, but I didn't realize he already had a decent resume. I agree that it would be nice to have him on the sidelines. We'll have to hope the new coach wants him though.

Would be better than what we have now, that being said, why would the incoming coach not hire a sure thing?

I always think Tee doesn't get quite the love he deserves. I've heard he's coaching in Georgia and I've heard a lot of positive things. I think he could be a good QB coach. Obviously he had 3 years under Cut and 1 under Sanders...he got us to two straight BCS bowls. Record as a starter was 23-3. Still holds completion percentage rating record for 1998 against South Carolina. Yeah we should have beaten Florida or Arky in 1999 and gotten back to the NC game but Tee I think could do a lot for us.

I wish they would bring Tee Martin on the staff in some capacity. He is a great guy and I think he would be a really good recruiter.
