You want a Bad Look........hire him as a Head Coach. He lost out at GA Southern HC job. He doesn't even call all the plays......HC wants him to go, so he can put his brother in as OC. Tee needs to start small, prove himself and get to UT level. NO WAY he is HC material today.
Cutcliffe was a Bammer...guess we should give back that title he helped us win and forget that half the people on here were begging him to come back.
This is not about Tennessee or Alabama ties, it's about Tee not having the experience right now. I love Tee, but he has only been an OC for two years. Pruitt has been one of the top DCs in the country for years. He has consistently had great defense's with numerous teams. Plus he has three national championships, two as DB coach at Alabama. He just has the better resume with a lot more experience right now. However, I was really hoping he'd join Pruitt at Tennessee as OC.
When did he have his chance?
People. please name all the schools now going after Tee for their Head Coach position.
I'll wait for the list of schools.
Tee simply isn't ready or have enough proven experience for this level.
VFL...GBO!!!
Agree 100%. Tee has never "developed" any offensive schemes; makes very few offensive decisions or adjustments at USC-the-real-one. He's grossly...GROSSLY...under-qualified to be HC anywhere. Plus, where, outside of playing in it in the latter '90's, has he attained experience in SEC play? From this sameolvol's perspective, he's got the class of a slug, displayed by his angst over not being promoted to a position which he's got to know he can't handle. You've burned a perfectly good bridge, Mister Martin.I saw the same thing on Twitter. Bad look.
When did he have his chance?
