People. please name all the schools now going after Tee for their Head Coach position.

I'll wait for the list of schools.

Tee simply isn't ready or have enough proven experience for this level.

He just “liked” this tweet, but has since unliked it. It showed up in my feed since I follow him. If you go to his likes now, it’s not there.

Don't see a problem with this. He obviously thinks he's the best man for the job, as do most applying. Anyone not getting their dream job would be a little upset. chill

Tee liking that tweet had nothing to do with the job, he liked it because it gave him a compliment. He unliked it because the like gave the wrong impression. Noting to see here people move on.

OR... it could be an accidental like since it pops up on his notifications feed. I accidentally liked something today and had to take it back. :-/

Can’t read into everything, people. I’m sure if Tee was pissed, he has other ways of venting than heading to twitter.

Hope this is the case... I’d like to have Tee back in some capacity one day.

This is not about Tennessee or Alabama ties, it's about Tee not having the experience right now. I love Tee, but he has only been an OC for two years. Pruitt has been one of the top DCs in the country for years. He has consistently had great defense's with numerous teams. Plus he has three national championships, two as DB coach at Alabama. He just has the better resume with a lot more experience right now. However, I was really hoping he'd join Pruitt at Tennessee as OC.
Excellent post. Tee knows this is true. He's just disappointed at the moment. He will have a 2nd chance to come here in the future. When he does, if he really wants to come, he needs to man up and not let his star struck 2nd wife decide for him. Simple as that.

Tee is doing fine, and will be a HC and do well. If Phil #1 goal was toughness, he had to go in this sort of direction.

Instead of being disappointed about Tee not being hired I think people should think about what started our downward spiral. The buddy system of hiring coaches and assistants over the past 9 years has led to this point. Pruitt should be a great hire. Defense is a must in the SEC. It doesn't matter if you can score if you can't stop the other team.

There isn't a single person here who would consider Tee even a top 30 candidate if he didn't go here. Hiring underqualified cronies probably won't win you championships.

Tee just needs to focus and work harder at being a better than average coach... he can get there.

I guess by "years" you mean exactly 4 years. Not exactly much more than Tee.

So he's been a coordinator for 4 years and is possibly about to coach in his 3rd national championship game. And this is a problem for you?

Yea, but only difference is Pruitt coached under Saban and Tee hasn't. I mean let's face it, swap Tee and Pruitt around. Are we still hiring Pruitt? No, we would hire Tee...common theme is we only hired because of Bama ties. Truth!

Tee will always be my hero and I will always follow his career.

Wish him the best of luck but you just can't pass up one of the best DC's in the country when you have them at the table.

I'm sure that Fulmer was honest with Tee when they spoke on the telephone.

Tee,
We will always love and support you not matter what
.
