Tee Martin has decided to stay in Lexington

I am announcing that I am staying in Nashville, and will not be GAvol's OC next year in Knoxville.

Just about to tweet it. Thought I'd let one of you guys run with it first.
Good idea, don't quit your day job.

Its cool Bruin, I tend to agree a lot on how you see the program. For the record I do not judge anyone based on their ethnicity whether it is coaching or in life in general.

I realized I might be making a big assumption that wasn't correct making me just like those I spoke about.

Am I wrong in thinking there may be an announcement tomorrow about the vacancy?

Tee Martin is more of a mobile QB coach, our QB's are more pocket passers, would not have been a good match even if we expressed an interest. IMO

Cutcliffe never even played college football, doesn't mean he can't coach the QB position. The fact Tee played QB in Division 1 makes him more qualified then probably half the current QB coaches in division 1. Makes no difference that if he was a mobile QB or pocket passer. You don't have to be a pocket passer in Division 1 to coach that position.

I didn't think so at all. And I wasn't disputing you either. I don't know if Tee said it or not. My point all along was that if Tee in fact said he was contacted then I have no doubt he was.

I did do some internet searching and could not find a direct quote from Tee at all. the only thing I found was football scoop saying he was staying at Kentucky. they didn't say why..

I wouldnt be surprised either way honestly. That's why I said "if" he stated that. You and I didn't disagree at all actually.
Some goobs who hate reality and don't like reading the truth about the dumpster fire our current staff is. So they jumped at my post without even truly reading them.

or fans that bash players and coaches without knowing one damn thing about what goes on up there.

all i know is there is more losing going on up there than there was with all the other coaches we have had in my lifetime, thats all i need to know. i dont remember the other coaches being such a crybaby with all the excuses when they did lose either. i guess thats what happens when you turn the team over to a GA(y) boy.

But but he's just finished up year one and we are sooooo young which makes us a bad team. Sorry but players don't develop on their own coaches develop them and the sophomores we had this shouldn't still be confused and out of place the whole thing is a giant cluster f***

Good. He can stay in Lexington for another year or two at the most and get fired along with the Joker.

Of course, if he came home to UT, he's likely to get fired also after Dudley Doo-little flames out next year.

Rucker reported earlier that Martin hasn't even been contacted about a spot, but he spoke with a relative of Tee, who told Rucker that if offered ANY position on the offensive staff he would be "On I-75 South before Dooley hung up the phone."

agree. I wasn't thinking we had disagreed either

He prolly heard we havent fired Dooley yet. His team just beat them with a wr playing qb on prolly one of the worst KY teams in history!

Just curious, and you may not be willing to answer this, but would that agreement include Beef's characterization of the staff?

LWS is a very nice guy and doesn't get into arguments. No need in trying to drag him in. The staff has done a terrible job developing players and all the head coach can do well is throw the players under the bus. You can't seem to see but that doesn't mean you need to try and drag others into our debate.

What is our debate?

no idea what he said about staff. I was talking about Tee.

I think he was speaking about Tee in regards to knowing him personally. I don't think there is a quote out there on Tee saying why he is staying at UK

I will always be in favor for ex-Vol players to come back and coach. What a way to preach what you've practiced, etc.
