Tee Martin give shoutout to Tennessee fans after USC win

Maybe I've just caught a case of the "Rainbows & Butterflies" delusion, but I can see a Gruden HC, Martin OC/HCIW, ??? DC package. Gruden comes in as CEO for 3 to 5 years, with Martin as the OC / Recruiting Coordinator. Then Gruden sails off into the sunset as a VFL hero, and Martin picks up right where JG left off.

Personally, I think Coach Fulmer would approve of that package deal.

Go Vols.

I think Fulmer would too but Tee would not. Stop trying to get the best for the Vols without considering what is best for the person. Tee is already an OC at a better football school. He is not coming for a lateral move that is ridiculous. If you guys want a un upcoming stud coach like Tee you have to give him a upgrade and give him the keys to the house not the clip board.

Does anyone here actually watch USC games? Honest question. Tee is the least qualified candidate being talked about.

Yes, I watched them have a top ten offense while having a #81 defense. With this weak defense, they still won 11 games and a P5 conference championship

Martin would very, very not likely make a lateral move (to OC). Also, it’s anybody's guess if he’s ready to be a HC - especially at premiere program in UT. I just would hate to see one of our beloved own treated the way Jones was if/when Martin doesn’t meet expectations. If he’s ready though he’s ready. It’s in Phil’s hands now and I like that much better than being in Currie’s hands.

I think there is only one guy Tee would join as OC that's lane Kiffin . Kiffin gave Tee his first big time job and that's a big deal for Tee

I like what you are saying. But, don't see anything like this happening. First Gru ain't coming. Second T won't do this. (neither will his wife) I think they both wont the whole pie and would like it to be in southern calf.

Tee has been my first choice. Having Ties to the school would hopefully help if other schools coming after our coach. He would bring in more talent and is a players coach. I love the fact he could be something special and have 20+ years here. You can't get one of these old coaches with mediocre success to bring a sec championship.

Great. And when you watch, do you think they have some great offensive scheme, or do they have the best QB in the country with some elite athletes running a Butch Jones level vanilla offense?

Never ceases to amaze me how many people are willing to kiss the Holy Sphincter of a guy with a career .541 record, and whose claim to fame is reading a teleprompter and making stupid faces. Gruden sucks out loud, and anyone that wants that piece of garbage here needs to have their head examined.

I agree 100%... Give Tee a chance. Surround him with the best coordinators you can find that are VFL's!!! It will be well worth it in the long run. You bring in somebody else, even if they have some success, they will fly the coop at first better offer in a couple years..... Lets take a young gun like Tee and try to build a decades long dynasty!!!!! GO VOLS :clapping::rock: LETS SEE TEE RUNNING THE TEAM THROUGH THE T FOR TENNESSEE!!!!!!!!!! TEE and T DYNOMITE!!!!

How many times have we had a coaching vacancy and Tee was not interested...what's different this time around?

Until he publicly says "no", then yes. He's dropped plenty of hints, and his cameo appearances in Knoxville were likely more than just coincidence. If he wanted to lay low, he knows how.

I think he gets a call from Coach Fulmer, and we'll know a lot more about "who's who" by close of business on Monday.

I also think Clay Travis, at times, is worth listening to...and this is one of those times.

Go Vols.
Well, Kate Upton has dropped plenty of hints that she's interested. Just look at the way she looks at the camera. And she's never publicly told me no, so there's that.

You guys that think Gruden is/was a pipe dream have not been paying attention. The Sunday after the South Carolina Loss, Cindy Gruden and Vicky Fulmer spent the day together in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Why do you think there was so much uproar from the boosters (other than Haslam) when the Schiano hire leaked. They thought the plan was to announce Jon last Sunday. The powers at UT met with Gruden 3 times. Once hat the resort in Charlotte prior to his calling the panthers game on Monday night and twice in Tampa which 3 local news outlets reported.

He may not ever coach at UT but to say in the last 6 weeks that nothing was going on is just not true.

Gruden is worse than a pipedream, its a complete fantasy
