It comes with a different passion at Tennessee, too, never more apparent than the week leading up to the Florida game.

“Having an opportunity to coach and recruit at a school you played for means so much to the program, it’s different,” Martin said. “I don’t feel like I’m selling something when I recruit. I don’t feel like I’m selling something when I talk to our current players.

“I started off trying to be all professional, showing I could coach, and I ended up throwing stuff, ripping my shirt off and being passionate. Especially when it’s a week like this.”
