Tee Martin could have called a better game than Chaney don't you think?

I'm just determined to believe he has more imagination having played the position the one caveat being he would have to recruit his future qb and go from there. Yes, no? Our head coach is a defensive coach obviously we had our chances yesterday until the defense realized they were on their own, on top of and growing tired.

The rbs and Oline struggled with pass protection all day.....then add JG holding the ball too long ..... so..... no

I know the line play was awful, but why are we still doing that read option look? Put the RB behind the QB and go North and South not East and West. The OL needs to be bulldozers not street sweepers. Moving sideways creates confusion for the OL and gaps for the defense to come through. No running game, no chance at a passing game with our QB.

Doubtful. I would of liked to seen more slants but I honestly think they are afraid for JG to throw much in the middle.

Our 5th year starter should have changed up the snap count to help slow down the rush. Use the hard count, go on first sound to eliminate those shifts, maybe get a few free first downs in the process. As far as play calls, we should have called plays to use their pursuit against them. Lure them back and dump a screen right over their heads. Move the pocket, run some delays, rollout and throwback against the motion, mix in some option, etc. Instead I don't think we changed anything the whole game to adjust to what their defense was doing.

Possibly. Kiffin, in his first year, has Ole Miss (who has far less talent) clicking and making offense look easy. If he had our defense that would be a championship level team. UTs issue is bad Oline coaching, a mediocre QB, and a really dated, low octane scheme.

Agreed. JG should be able to help himself at this juncture.

Idk what brings this logic out, is it simply bc Martin is a former Vol? Chaney has been an OC for several years at several prominent programs; Martin just isn’t a hot commodity at OC.

How bout when Chandler just bounced off his olines back and couldn’t get a yard. It was there but he jumped into his mans back. We still have old blood @ qb and tailback and it shows
