By the same accord if all of your stud players (Berry, Hardesty) and the rest of the team are asking for the jerseys... what do you do?

CLK said... repeatedly... it is a player's game. It was Halloween. What can you people not understand?

They knew when they signed on the line that our uniforms were Orange and White, so they shouldnt expect to be wearing anything else.

Former Vols' All-SEC offensive lineman Anthony Parker said he and teammates lobbied for the black uniforms during his four-year career, which ended last season along with the tenure of coach Phillip Fulmer.

"The black jerseys were something we tried to get the whole time we were there, but that never happened,'' Parker said. "It was cool to see, and I also thought when we did get to black jerseys it would be all black uniforms."

Not surprising. Fulmer didn't even like the orange pants. They only wore them 3 times in his tenure.

That was three times too many. All orange is hideous.

I liked the black jerseys and I like the all orange. But both need to only be brought out in special occasions and seasons can go by without either and I wouldn't be upset.

This is to the gutless individual that left the nice note on my XBOX account. If you dont like what I have to say, then have the guts to share it with all of us like I have shared my opinion. My kids use that account and the language you used in that message was not called for, unless you were willing to say that to my face. I doubt you would because only a man would do that and I doubt very seriously you are a man. That is one of the problems I have with SOME of the younger generation. They cant accept that a person can have a different opinion than someone else.

Out of touch with youth these days? Players love blackouts. At any school of any size!!! Our players know that, students know that, recruits know that, and staff know that. Only the blue hairs don't. For a nighttime halloween home game its a great move.

Atleast we're not like oregon who has 80 different uniform combinations. Or look like ga against fla last weekend.

I didn't say anything about the black jerseys, I said no to the black helmets. So I don't know why you quoted me, as you then proceded to point out how bad Georgia looked Saturday, which they looked bad because they pulled out....wait for it.....black helmets.

This is big orange country. Some things you don't mess with. School colors is one of them. Orange and white, orange and white, orange and white, etc.

Hey Phil... good to see you on here again... hope you get that job with Memphis :ermm:

There's something hilarious about a grown man with kids calling out somebody else for not being a real man about a message left on his Xbox account.

I really enjoyed them, I would like to see the entire black with Orange lettering, at least part of the time, I am purchasing my black #11 as soon as I find one

It wasn't me, if that's what you're thinking.

Loved them - more importantly, my kids loved them. You do what is necessary to relate to your kids and recruiting - pick your battles.
