Tee coming home...

If going to LA and coaching other kids and putting your career ahead of your own son is something you admire, so be it. But his career looks about the same as it did in 2012. Big mistake. I suppose raising his son is less important in your eyes
Just because he chose to make a good salary does not in any way mean that he didn’t help raise his son. I would bet that his son benefits from his career choice. Not one of us Live in the Martin home or walk in this VFL shoes. Those that live in glass houses should not throw stones.

After reading many of these negative posts, He’ll I wouldn’t want to come back here either. Tee has done more for this Universitu than most on this forum. I have never seen so many sniveling babies. Why is it so hard to just support all who are willing to be a part of our beloved Vols?

The first big mistake of the Pruitt era. Tee had his chance to come here in 2012. The biggest reason was to raise his then young son and be in his life...and coach football at his alma mater....and make great money. He choose against being Dad. That tells us the type of man he is. Don't need a bad person and a fired average coach.

I get what your saying but would you support Jones returning? He did get us relevant in recruiting, 9-10 win season, and a bowl game

I can see Tee as a "QB coach / Recruiting Coord". I'm not sure where else he fits. I believe we're set at WR coach. If most on here are correct and JG hasn't improved all season, then doesn't that spell problems at the QB coach level? If so, I believe CJP is on top of it and planning to amend it.
He would certainly be an improvement at running back coach

You guys should be listening to Basilio. He just said the following:

  • We hired Tee out from under Bama
  • Tee took a red eye last night to be in Knoxville today because he’s so excited
  • His position hasn’t been announced yet because there will be some “shuffling” soon
  • David Johnson likely out
  • We had to act fast so we wouldn’t lose him

My friend called me and woke me up this morning, about Tee coming home, and an interesting story going down.
Sometime Monday Fulmer and Pruitt had a meeting in the AD office. According to the story, Fulmer says, how about Tee coming to Knoxville? Pruitt tells Fulmer that he didn’t know if he would come or not, because of all of the backlash, but I’ve always wanted him here in my staff. Fulmer had told Pruitt that pffftt, I can get Tee to do whatever I ask him to do, and it isn’t going to be a problem getting him here. He goes on and says that, all of the guys I recruited looks at me like a father figure, and they are my sons that I took under my wing. So Pruitt says call him and see. Fulmer calls him and ask, and according to sources, their wasn’t any backlash from Tee to come home. It was absolutely, I’ll be there. Fulmer told him that the contract situation would be worked out, and you have no worries. Fulmer told him welcome home and let’s get to work, and Tee accepted and said yes sir, on my way.
That is the story that developed Monday of what I was told this morning.

Now, all of this negativity out here is absolutely uncalled for. Tee is still a VFL, and certainly deserves some kind of welcoming back to Knoxville. Whatever it was in the past is buried under the hatchet.
Let’s open our hearts and arms with some ❤️
WELCOME HOME TEE!
“Yes sir, I’m on my way.” Awesome.

Can't he walk around the sidelines carrying the trophy? (I mean, as opposed to chains)

Youl have no clue what he has it has not done. To raise his son Mr Perfect.

Hmmm...I'm tempted to groan like Lurch from the Addams Family but I won't just yet. I trust Fulmer and Pruitt. I am sure they have already had the conversations with Tee that needed to be had or this wouldn't be happening. Welcome back, Tee...now help take us to the top.

Call it battered vol syndrome but I really hope UT officially announces this soon lol. Way to much good news lately.
