Tee coming home...

If Pruitt wants Tee then that's fine with me.

I hate to lose Coach YAC because he's been the best WR coach we've had in many years and the kids love him.

If Tee is made the new WR coach and he does as well or better than Coach YAC Johnson then we lost nothing if the players love Tee too.

We all know that USC recruits for itself especially out West.

If Tee comes in and recruits as well as he's done for USC then this will be a Win for us.

I also have to wonder how long Tee will stay at UT because if he's a 1 year guy then that hurts our recruiting and coaching consistency and that's not a good thing.

We're far below the alaBummer level so we can't lose coaches every year like saTan does and just keep chugging along.

We need several years of coaching consistency to get us built back up to aaBubba level first.

VFL...GBO!!!

When has character ever been talked about regarding my posts? I have never said once the C word.

Also you ignored my point. Bama chasing Pruitt means Pruitt is winning.

Tennessee hiring Tee this offseason is solely on Tee’s other job offers not beating Tennessee’s in attractiveness and likely a little to be closer to his kid right across the border.

Those situations are zero alike.

I don’t have a problem with the hire if it’s a WR coaching spot.

But I also don’t have be full blown hypocrite like the people I’ve seen this AM praising the hire when they viciously attacked the guy last year when it was rumored Fulmer would talk shop with him about the HC job and even an OC job. Amazing how quickly the tune has changed on some folks. Especially considering they are cheering we hired him after being fired as opposed to hiring him coming off the Darnold years.

Atleast be consistent.
I'll take that as a no, thanks

see, this is what 10 years of ish has done to us. some of y'all really don't know what to do with good news. especially when it comes in bunches like it has the past couple weeks. conditioned to only find and acknowledge any shred of negativity, regardless of how benign it is to the big picture.

sad man, sad. get well soon foolz......it's finally starting to be great to be a tennessee vol again. get used to it....or at least hope it continues....jeez.

This thread is full of win. Lol.

Here is another development going on of some good news yesterday and this morning.
Yesterday I posted a rumor that a big time boom grad transfer is coming in between now and the 1st of March.
If you aren’t paying attention to our 2019 recruits tweeting that we aren’t finished yet with a smiley 😊 face, then you ought to pay attention. Now the other story that has just broken this morning is that we could see another big time grad boom transfer coming in by March, and this is just a rumor. Between the recruits, rumors, and all of the talk, buckle down, because 2019 isn’t done yet. If you’re a Tennessee fan, then you better pay attention, and don’t take it from me, because I believe we aren’t done yet.

Between reading, we want Tee and then Tee is no big deal, you throw this out. Did I miss something?

He had nothing to do with the defense. Tee's resume as a position coach is much better than OC/co-OC or whatever that dynamic was. Some people are better as a position coach that the "boss" of one side of the line or the other.
I didnt say he did

Called out? Stop being ridiculous lol. I’m not running off, I’m just stopping this train wreck of a discussion with someone who clearly has an agenda and couldn’t even begin to listen to reason. You have your opinion and I will leave you with it.

Thank you. I appreciate someone trying to "take it outside" so we can save this thread.

Bad idea imo.

I say this because people think it's 1998 all over again - it's not.

It appears to be common knowledge Tee thinks he should get as much love as Manning. That in itself ain't so bad unless it has contributed to some bitterness.

Tee thought he was owed head coaching job opportunity.

Tee thought he was owed the offensive coordinator job. He was just fired at USC because he wasn't getting it done.

I am not sure he was in on any highly ranked players that was considering the Vols.

Own son didn't even appear to consider the Vols. For what it's worth I can't blame him for not playing for Butch but to not look interested.

If this was Pruitt's decision then fine but hopefully there wasn't pressure. Will Tee expect to be OC or HC in waiting down the line? Will it create problems if he underperforms?
I have similar thoughts.

Pruitt Doesent strike me as the kind of guy that lets another create problems. If this was Jones I’d say sure

That said I’m sure this move was done to try and revive his career and move up eventually. Unless Chaney has no desire to be a HC or a NFL OC the seat will become available and he’ll want his chance.
