Tee coming home...

I think people primarily object to past comments he’s made, and possibly feeling as though he used UT interviews as ways to get raises. I might be wrong though. . .

And he had a right to say those things. He's been shitted on since the day he left. I'd be pissed and have a chip on my shoulder if the team I took to the big game and won treated me like ****.

What did they do to him? My memory is fuzzy.

So you’re denying he trashed Hurd?

I say we pull up the Hurd thread on here from years past and see who all here trashed Hurd a lot worse than Tee did.

<<not saying you did, just would be interesting to see who trashed Hurd when he quit on the team who now are pointing fingers at Tee>>

Not a bad hire but not a great hire.

He’s an Elite Recruiter, no denying that, but I think being a position coach of some sort would be completely fine as long as he stays away from calling plays.

We have Chaney now so that shouldn’t be an issue.

I will add that I hope he’s serious about wanting to be here instead of just “settling” for an offer since his departure from USC.

Either way, Pruitt is making moves on the recruiting trail. Let’s hope can coach up these players next season too.

Go Vols.

When did this happen? Any examples you want to provide?

A simple no would have been sufficient. But the fact he was wearing USC gear while flying in for his interview and then trashing Hurd on national TV for signing with us are another thing. I think Tennessee looked like the best offer for him now because his options were that weak.
Damn man!!! Did tee smash your chick? Stfu and quit hating

They didn’t offer him the HC job when Kiffin got it and it was said he’s been bitter about.

We will see how great of a recruiter he is. Recruiting for USC is a lot different from recruiting for Tennessee, Kentucky, or Vanderbilt.

My friend called me and woke me up this morning, about Tee coming home, and an interesting story going down.
Sometime Monday Fulmer and Pruitt had a meeting in the AD office. According to the story, Fulmer says, how about Tee coming to Knoxville? Pruitt tells Fulmer that he didn’t know if he would come or not, because of all of the backlash, but I’ve always wanted him here in my staff. Fulmer had told Pruitt that pffftt, I can get Tee to do whatever I ask him to do, and it isn’t going to be a problem getting him here. He goes on and says that, all of the guys I recruited looks at me like a father figure, and they are my sons that I took under my wing. So Pruitt says call him and see. Fulmer calls him and ask, and according to sources, their wasn’t any backlash from Tee to come home. It was absolutely, I’ll be there. Fulmer told him that the contract situation would be worked out, and you have no worries. Fulmer told him welcome home and let’s get to work, and Tee accepted and said yes sir, on my way.
That is the story that developed Monday of what I was told this morning.

Now, all of this negativity out here is absolutely uncalled for. Tee is still a VFL, and certainly deserves some kind of welcoming back to Knoxville. Whatever it was in the past is buried under the hatchet.
Let’s open our hearts and arms with some ❤️
WELCOME HOME TEE!
You’re like a damn cartoon character. Please go away.
