Tebow > Fulmer/Crompton

The NEXT thing would be more appropriate if you were making convincing points. References to excrement don't count.

Can anyone show me where I can buy some of these?

I'm sure FL has some....they're trimmed in Blue.

Probably can order them from the website where you found that pic...

I need the ones with the magical powers that transport me back in time to when Tennessee was good and dominated our SEC opponents. I see no other way that everyone has this absolute hatred for other teams.

It's called friendly competition folks. Right now, we're not competing. It sucks, but try to remain at least a little bit objective.

Edit: For example I hate Alabama, but I've got to tip my hat to them. They made the changes they needed to make (recruiting, coaching) to be good this year. They've played with heart and dominated the two big match ups they have had thus far. I hate it, but my hat is still off to them.

I don't have a general hatred of other teams (plural). I have a specific hatred of one team (singular). There is no other program which I detest in the way that I do Florida. My hatred of them arises not only from what I've seen over the years, but from personal experience with them as well.

Sorry for hatred against us. Not everyone is like those you came in contact with. I, for one, am rational and completely understand your hatred. However, i came to Neyland this year and the fans were nice, partly b/c I didn't run my mouth, laugh or anything because what comes around, goes around. I'm not saying you ran your mouth either. College football is cyclical and whenever UT gets going again, it will be hard to stop them. Right now, it seems to be our time, at least I hope it is, but this is the SEC and anyone can beat anyone apparently.

LOL. It's futile kpt. Boobs refuses to believe that any other team has a player on Peyton Manning's level of performance and leadership.

Actually, last year at the Florida game I got so overheated that I nearly had to go to the hospital. While my fiance was helping me back to the car, we had fans throw stuff at us, get in our faces, and try to run us over...all because of the shirts we had on. I was too sick to even try to respond, much less say anything to them.

I also posted earlier that I waited tables on the strip for a couple of years. The FL fans were the only fans who ever hassled me-poored beer on me, pushed me while I was carrying drinks, heckled me and my co-workers. Working on the strip, I was well aware that I had to be amiable with fans from the opposite team-and I never had a problem with any other group of fans. I would joke and laugh with the fans who came to my tables, and I always received compliments and great tips from them...all except the Florida fans.

You have good and bad with all fan bases. Florida fans in general are a good lot. The two fan bases that tend to get on my nerves are normally Georgia and Bammers. And recently it has been Georgia more so than any other. Of course with my age being a factor Bammers will always hold a special spot in my hatred list.

As far as Tebow's comment and accepting blame goes it comes to one word... class.

I never saw Peyton making gestures at fans, doing 'paper-tiger' charades in the first quarter (in a game they lost, hehee), any of that junk. He just did the best he could and went back to the huddle.

That's the kind of crap I hate.

OOOOH touche'....few beers and late night posting=Peyton Post :)

Point proven my friend (thus showing I'm not afraid to give you credit where it's due).

In reality though, Manning was great-he is still showing to be an all-around good guy. But I've never been one of those fans who forms every opinion I have based on Manning. I posted over 80 times in the last two days-so, I should have known that there'd be a post in there about Peyton somewhere. I, in fact, was only about 11-12 years old when Peyton played for us...so most of what I say is based on my experience as a Volfan after the Peytonian era (even though its hard to resist not giving him props).

I have as much disdain for UF as you do, but I have no problem recognizing a great player for them who I also think is a classy kid. I've never once felt the same about any other Gator, I might add.

I honestly just do not like the guy. There have been others that I've felt the same way about. It just reminds me of the punter (I know punters aren't as grand as QBs) from Ole Miss. A lot of people from the area around west TN and such think he's such a great guy. I went to high school with the guy though, and I think people just think he's grand because he's a good athlete. Without knowing the guy personally, there's really no way to tell what he's like.

Ah-you must mean Blake McAdams. I've heard people talk about how great he is when the Ole Miss game has been on television a couple of times. He seems to have the personality of a rock.

Yep, he was like that in h/s too. BUT, he was great at everything he did. He was starting QB, star baseball player, and starter on the basketball team. He did it all, and he did it all very well.

Yeah I'm sick of this ''we need to watch film before we can comment'' garbage. If it's common sense...you probably could comment on it without watching it again. The fans only see it once too and we don't have to watch film to know that we're just polishing a terd week after week.

For Christ Sake, I'm not buying your brand either, i think it is hillarious that he makes excuses for a one point loss to Ole Miss, he oughtta not said anything to the media and got right back to work, I'm not saying Crompton does that but I hate Tebow also, i think he is a complete dillhole and his whole, I do things in the community bs is just a publicity stunt so that he'll be seen as the godson of the SEC, well he's not, i'm sorry to say this but you wanna know who the best QB in the SEC is hands down right now especially after tonite, JOHN PARKER WILSON, take it down and get over this Tebow BS.

Jealousy is a terrible thing. Do not envy.
