Tebow Blows Heisman

seriously? Seems to me that it was clear that he's the guy Tebow blows.

The question is whether he does it with the eye black on.

This is Volnation gold right here!

We need a best of Volnation thread, only the the mods can post the selected posts and the rest of us can sit back and enjoy!

Anybody else agree?

Just thought a best of thread sounded like a good idea......sorry you don't agree.

I don't get out to much, that's what a kid in college and a 3 year old will do to you though.

Au contraire. A non too subtle mix of blasphemy and righteous indignation, blended with misplaced moral outrage, is always worth a few chuckles.

This is the stupidest thread I've ever seen on here. People can breathe the wrong way on here and people jump all over them despite the point they're making and then someone could make a stupid post like this and gets 11 pages of replies.

I'm a Christian. My dad is a baptist minister. I think what Tebow does and what he stands for is great and sadly it makes me like him. But Tim Tebow saying that he is out to stick it to the Vols is not a sin because he's not wishing harm on them, just to defeat us. I can guarantee that Tim knows that football is just a game and his walk with Christ is MUCH more important than football. He would chose his faith over football and he's not sinning by telling a team that he's going to defeat us. And this is not going to tarnish his rep or cost him the Heisman/NC.

At no time during your rambling about Tebow being a sinner did you make a valid or cognitive point. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

As Kayne would say, "I'm sorry but this is the stupidest thread of all time!"

Exploring new frontiers are we? And Kayne can kiss my old arse.

judging?

I didn't get the use of the word cognitive. Are you saying he didn't think about it?

Believe me they get much worse, for evidence check out any Lawgator thread. Stick around a while, you'll see.

This thread is starting to get lonely for us nonbelievers..........

We're they only ones in here who are free to hate Tebow wholeheartedly :)

I'm too tired to read 11 pages...but Tebow is great for college athletics...athletics in general. Christian or not...you have to admire the kid for what he does on and off the field. I'm a FSU fan 1st and a UT fan 2nd...so I hate UF. But, I admire Tebow for what he is. I hope my kids turn out to be like him. I wish I was more like him.

If we all look deep...we are jealous of what he has accomplished. Would ANYONE not take him as the poster child for UT?????? I wish he was at FSU or UT! If he was at UT....everyone here would think he was the greatest thing in UT history!

That being said....I hope he throws 5 picks and stinks up the swamp Sat....but I doubt it!

So none of the others get called attention whores?

The loud, in your face Christian had done more to destroy the Kingdom than they could build up in a thousand lifetimes.

Care to explain that concept?

Thanks.

I don't think it's about vengeance at all. Tebow's not trying to get back at Kiffin or repay evil with evil. He's simply a leader stepping up to protect his house by saying, as he did after the loss last year, as much as is in his power, he's going to use all his efforts to win. In case you didn't remember, even though this is a game, Christians are required to give it their best as if it were for God Himself...you know...whether word or deed kind of thing. Myself, I would rather let the one in charge make the judgment calls and sit back and enjoy the spirit of fun in the game.

What a stupid thread. This is football. A game. I'm sure even Reggie White got angry on the football field. It's the nature of football. I'm sure Reggie said something similar to this at some point in his career, even if we didn't hear about it.

Tebow is a great kid. If all 22 year olds had the mindset of this guy, the world would be a much better place.

For the past 2 years all the media has been promoting Tebow as a Christian athlete. Making documentaries segments showing him doing mission work, Tebow promoting his faith with anti glare bandages with scriptures written on them. Painting this picture for all the country to see of a good wholesome person full of faith and living the christian life.

Tebow has came out and publicly stated no one makes fun of his coach and he is out to put it on the Vols. Now to some people they may read this and go yeah Tebow give it to them. I for one of Christian faith see his statement being of one of vengeance. Let me remind you that Vengeance is mine saith the lord.

I say go for it Tebow and wait and see if this will not come back to smite you down. You are going to tarnish your reputation and kiss your Heisman and possible NC chance goodbye.

IMO, this is a big stretch.
