For the past 2 years all the media has been promoting Tebow as a Christian athlete. Making documentaries segments showing him doing mission work, Tebow promoting his faith with anti glare bandages with scriptures written on them. Painting this picture for all the country to see of a good wholesome person full of faith and living the christian life.

Tebow has came out and publicly stated no one makes fun of his coach and he is out to put it on the Vols. Now to some people they may read this and go yeah Tebow give it to them. I for one of Christian faith see his statement being of one of vengeance. Let me remind you that Vengeance is mine saith the lord.

I say go for it Tebow and wait and see if this will not come back to smite you down. You are going to tarnish your reputation and kiss your Heisman and possible NC chance goodbye.

If you were half the Christian Tebow was I'd consider this but, alas.

I am. It beats the cross-eyed jackleg that's wearing number 8. Don't be jealous though. There's plenty of snakes to for you to play with out there.

Dude ... this is not unchristian. I'm not a Meyer fan, but I don't have anything bad to say against Tebow. You're making a mountain out of a mole hill to the biggest degree. He's using it as motivation, and he's a competitor. I cannot believe that I'm actually responding to this.

I'm pretty sure most of us feel like you do.

those without sin cast the first stone...

Has nothing to do with casting the first stone. Has everything to do with Vengeance and a self proclaimed christian made out in the media to be more wholesome then applie pie going out for Vengeance.

Brother he is not talking about murder or some other violent retribution. He is simply talking about wippin us on a FOOTBALL FIELD. I have heard a lot worse on church league softball fields from my fellow christian brothers. WE all sometimes get carried away in the heat of competition.

You are reaching on this one, brother...and coming across juuuuuussst a little radical. Just sayin...

Also noticed that you chose to capitalize "Heisman" and "Vols", but missed a "Christian" and "Lord".

Tebow is a great human being and anyone in their right mind would love to have him on their team.

So the end justifies the means. Ok. Tebow and his Gator press agents have snowed the entire nation. According to some of you on here, he puts Mother Teresa to shame. Can sainthood be far behind?

I hope Carlos Dunlap (DE for UF that wears #8) doesn't see that you are talking about him like that.
