If you declare for the NFL draft but realize you aren’t getting drafted early, I feel you should be able to return but hit the portal for a money grab then no return.

You may be kidding but this is the best way to get the attention of all the powers that be. When stadiums across the country are half empty on game day, hopefully the powers that be will wake up and start a dialogue to correct this issue
not kidding at all.

This is the "market" kind of working itself out. I figured after a couple of years of this, we'd start seeing the other side of the coin wise up to it.

If we are going to support individual player's rights to explore their individual options, we have to expect and support organizations that want to move on because they have legitimate concerns about whether said player's heart will be in it for them. It really is a two-way street like any other relationship.

Sometimes when your girlfriend breaks up with you it is the best decision she will ever make and sometimes it is the worst decision she will ever make.
What about us married guys?

Uh, that's a one way street. We get to pay a ridiculous amount in alimony, lose half our assets and get verbally abused by her and all her girlfriends. Never been divorced, but I've seen it happen to a couple of friends.

Agree except the path to a degree, that doesn’t figure in to this at all. Not sure they even go to class any longer. What’s going to happen if they don’t. Get fired ???
That's too bad. They may not value it, but it's a shame not to take advantage of it.
