Yes, I'd say we finish right around 10th. If the announcement is made on the 1st, that would leave Kiffen plenty of time.

If it is indeed Kiffin...there's a chance we pull back Giles and it gives us a good chance with Brown...

I also think it will solidify the current commits that are possibly wavering(whether its publically or privately) since our current staff has completely dropped the ball on recruiting...

Then with a solid staff in place(such as Orgeron, Reaves, Drayton, Scott and Norton Jr.) we go land some big guys like Moses, White and possibly a few stud defenders left on the board...

I could definitely see us going up to 8-10 in the rankings

We won't keep Drayton. There is probably a small chance we keep Scott.

I agree with you completely except I think we could do a little better than 10th. No matter what it will be a good class.

Weren't we 10 before losing Oku and Giles? I think we'll end up around 7 or 8. Possibly even higher if we get Moses/Brown/or Te'o

Is he still a possibility? I kinda thought we had taken a back seat to some other schools.
I think we're in his final grouping with Alabama, Florida, and Ohio State. That's his top 4 really, and then WVU, Virginia Tech, Georgia, and Florida State are a lot farther back.

Also, he was pretty interested in who we were going to hire, so I think Kiffin would be a good thing for him.

i can get why he would feel unsettled by the Fulmer firing. I'd give him an opportunity to return if he wanted to. If not, good luck being a gamecock. Seriously.
