The team played well, plays where called better ,we ran the ball aloooooooot better ,wanted to win the game bad but wasn't disappointed in how we played just the ball fell in dogs favor at the end ? Defense needs to step up a little more but all in all we played well GO VOLS

I definately don't pin this loss on Bray! The defense has got to stop the big plays!

I, at this point am normally calling for dd's head, but I will not this week. The loss sucks but we hung in there until the end this week.

I agree....All you who have given up and have begun your own private coaching search, let me tell you the Vols are alive and well....This team is going to be just fine. Patterson makes that catch in the first half and we're in OT right now. May not beat Bama, but I feel great about the rest of the schedule.

Get off this team's back and let em do their job!

I think we can beat SC if we are able to run the ball like we did today. I almost gave up but this game gave me a bit of hope. Sucks to lose but if we could stop a couple of big plays we would could have won.

i think we can still win eight games, we played a good game but we need to capitalize on our field goals.

People and their moral victories make me want to puke. It's win or lose people and we consistently lose. Results and wins are what matters, screw moral victories and just being in the game at the end. That won't win National Championships, get you to an SEC title game, OR get you to a decent bowl. How long are we supposed to accept "moral victories" as being a good thing? At some point you have to raise the BS flag and I'm waving that beotch like crazy!

Much better effort- no finger pointing for a change- encouraging, but we still lost. Must beat M State or it means little. Tackling worst that I can remember before ever, but D played hard the WHOLE GAME. Don't blame Bray, we wouldnt have been in the game without him. We are very close to being a factor in the SEC east again. Gives us hope for the future.

I'm stoked we didnt fold today. Almost made my week today. Usually a loss would crush me, but you just have to look at the positives. Our team didn't fold today. They had heart and fight for 60 minutes. The coaching was better and play was better. This team is getting better every week. Like you said, an upset is on the horizon. I believe a few are. Go VOLS!!!

Just a what if: WHAT IF, everyone that could come back next year did?

Losing by 7 and being in the game gives us hope for the future. Hope is important and team , at least, didnt quit. THey seemed to stay together today and that is very heartening. JUst win next game ,baby.

It's sounding more and more like Ole Miss around here every day. Next thing will be that T-Shirt that says "We don't win many games but we never lose at partying".

I understand what you are saying, but starting over Again , has many problems that go with the process. In hindsight, we never should have fired Phil in the middle of a season and made him cry on nat TV. What really good coach wants to come to a place where they fire a coach who is going to the hall of fame , 1 year after playing in the SEC champ. game? If we had let Phil stay- he wouild have put us back on top before now. Or, he would have volunteered to step aside. I will admit I was all for firing him at the time, but it was a bad move.
