Who do you think is holding the Team Meeting Today.... Players or Coaches.

I hope it isn’t a player lead meeting. Never has it ever been a good sign to have the players lead a meeting.

People watch too many movies and see it, the team meets, has a heart to heart, goes out and it’s like a whole new team.

This is real life, that crap doesn’t work, it just shows that the team doesn’t respect the coaches and lead so to failure.

Don't know if there is one or not....But there should be a Mandatory mtg so they at least figure out preventing future Sh!ts in bed.

Or if the problem continues, then, maybe they should burn a mattress or two...

I heard they brought in Jimmy Swaggart to try to get some fire out of the team.

Doesn't matter. One team meeting isn't going to fix this. I'm telling you guys, it's systemic to how Pruitt is running his program. I don't know what the problem IS exactly, but it's not simply because the players didn't try hard enough. There's far more to this than what we're seeing.

Meetings do work, it just depends on the type of organization you are leading....

I have a vivid memory (well, vivid for me) when Pruitt first got hired and much of his staff installed and a reporter asked, "Coach Pruitt, do you know who your leaders are?" . Pruitt gave him that "You dumbass" look and responded, "We are. The coaches are the leaders.". First, I thought "Alright now! He's taking charge." A couple of months later he's all "We're trying to identify the leaders on this team." It probably doesn't mean much. But, I didn't see any leaders on the field yesterday.

We shall see, but Fulmer put his reputation & love for UT on the line with this hire. Undercooked cornbread don't get it.

The way Pruitt seemed to care during and after the game if they had a team meeting it would probably just be to hand out participation ribbons and smiley face stickers

Maybe they watched the AU vs. Oregon game and wants to discuss why both teams actually had some energy and enthusiasm and wanted to win!
This team looked bored, 0 excitement. Should send everyone that played back to bench and start over. Freakin Embarrassing
