Was thinking about the TT post yeaterday and it's got me thinking about Bray and Kelly Washington as cancers on the team. Was Carl Pickens like that also? I want to say if not the majority of the '99 team had bad attitudes of "me" attitudes who else have we had that were cancers?

Pickens played intramural hoops for the vols football rec team called the Lakers. SI had the article Dude with a Tude but I don't recall problems with his teammates. Then again, social media wasn't around. Guy like vfl#34 would know.

Darick, Casey Clausen was before the uga game, can't remember exactly what year but he stated he could beat them with one hand tied behind his back and we got beat down. Lane Kiffin was a cancer as was Derek Dooley.

I heard from a friend that tried to meet Pickens back when he played for the Vols that he was a jerk. He tried to get his autograph as he was getting on the bus and Pickens response was "man, **** you."

That's something that's stuck with me for a while.

I don't really want to know any negative about Pickens. He is one of my favorites. The 1992 Fiesta Bowl was great for a little over a half and then went to total hell. I don't remember him pulling himself out of the game.

Knew Pickens when he was in HS. My brother actually played against him. He was cocky but overall not a "cancer".

Word from some players Dale Carter was a trouble maker. Not so much Pickens.

Casey said it after the Georgia game. They didn't beat us down. They about had a heat stroke trying to catch Banks though. They won, bragged, and Casey said, "If I had played, (with his broken clavicle) with one hand behind my back, that we would have won."

I heard one time someone was picking on Benjie shuler and Heath came over and did some sort of karate kick to the guys face. It knocked the guy out during practice. The whole story might have been bs as some rumors are.

I think that the term "locker room cancer" is insensitive.

Instead let's call them locker room STDs.

Doubt that's true. I know both of them. Heath is a stand up professional. Benjie is a straight up douche.
