Team 120 record going into Bye week

How will UT finish prior to the Bye week?

The first half of the season should be the tale of the tape for Team 120.

Will Volnation have a more relaxed Bye week (e.g. We're in the driver's seat for ATL) or one where we wonder how we could possibly back-in to the SECCG?

6-1 just because there is a gauntlet waiting for us before the break.

If we can go 3-1 during that stretch I'm all in saying we will be in the Playoff. I hate that Bama is at the end of that brutal month.

Wth? When we had the pick our record Poll, 10-2 was the most popular answer. But everyone is saying 6-1 going into the bye?
Planning on losing to Vanderbilt or did the fear the gamecocks thread get to everyone?

5-2, I'm afraid to wonder who the 2 are...

I've learned over the last 15+ years not to expect it to be 1998 again...

In all likelihood, 5-2 leads to 10-2 ... and 6-1 is the path to 11-1.

Our risk is front-loaded. Dark before the dawn and all that. It has been that way most years for the Vols, and will be that way this year.

In another recent thread, 10-2 was the most common prediction. But here, 6-1 is the clear leader. The two are somewhat at odds.

If you predicted "10-2," but you're thinking "6-1" in this thread...has the trap of our early gauntlet caught you?

Looking at the results so far, this is many more undefeated and 1 loss than just a week or two ago.

I don't think a gauntlet caught everyone as much as hype article overload.

I can see us being 7-0 after a very hard fought win over Bama. Honestly I see us at 4-3 with losses to Bama, UGA, and aTm

If you don't go into every game believing you will win, you wont! Butch in past seasons tempered expectations, which to me was an indication he didn't believe. This year he has embraced them meaning he believes and I'm with him 7-0.
