Tell Steve Smith that you have to be tall to succeed as a WR. Really. I dare you!

Still shorter guys who are super fast can always look to the NFL with Steve Smith, Devin Hester and Tedd Ginn Jr.

Steve Smith is the exception though rather than the rule. Inky Johnson was killing it despite a height disadvantage pre injury. Travis Stephens was a total stud despite not being very tall at RB, and come on...B Sanders...

Being 5'7 makes it too hard to make the catch at the SEC level. Being 5'10, 5'11 is fine as long as you are speedy and time your jumps right, or have enough change of direction that the CB is already lying on the ground before the ball gets there.

What? Are you serious. It still comes down to one thing throw the ball, catch the ball. I don't care if they are 3 feet or 7 feet tall if the routes are run properly, and the ball is thrown on time anyone can make it in the sec or nfl. Please remember some of the greatest receivers in all time were not tall speed deamons. They were men with hard hearts and soft hands.

5'6 Trindon Holiday has very little impact aside from special teams and there aren't many people in the country faster than him. If Nukese can give us the same type of special teams play though he will be worth his weight in gold!

I don't mind who gets on the field out of these two...as long as he "works like heck". kidding.

I am going to have to say that Nuke is my new favorite Vol. I hope he sees the field...a lot... but I think Teague is going to surprise. I really do.

Seriously for those of you in the know, is Teague good enough to be a Carl Pickens type of player? I realize the Carl Pickens type of player don't come around very often...but what say you all?

Not the same kind of player. Carl was a legit 6'4" 200+... and an incredible athlete on top of that.

Everybody that has went on my site and watched the videos go watch the henry county-melrose video. We were down by 6 with less than 2 minutes left and no timeouts. They had the ball with a 1st down. And shonte sims (who is gonna be a senior this comin up year) took the ball right out of the qbs hands and took it in for a touchdown.

What about the other 4 star James Green, he gonna play this year? If we get much thinner at WR anybody think Vinson goes back to WR.

Green is probably not going to get past the Clearinghouse...

JMO, but I think Vinson stays at CB.
