Saw this posted on another site. Just wanted to check with VN to confirm or deny.

The guy mentioned Teague in his comment and had "(possibly transfering)" beside his name.

Somebody tell me this is not true!!!!

surely not, dude will get some serious PT soon. either on defense or after Jones/Moore move on. i think he's talented enough

From what I hear it is true. I heard this last week and someone said that it was for academic reasons but I think you have got to let him stay. My idea would be to try him out at corner to see how he does because we are going to be a little down at that position next year and if we land rogers or ambles we won't really need him at WR.

If you saw this post on GVX, the guy also thought that Green WR was still on the team, so it didn't seem like he knew what he was talking about. Hopefully this is not true.

Teague will have a full year on any receiver we bring in this fall (except Milton and Meline), and he's in as good of a position as any to get a lion's share of playing time this year. Don't see any reason for him to be willing to sit a year, with that in mind. I could see it if he somehow gets buried on the depth chart next season or something, but that isn't likely to happen.

Arguably one of the best if not the best WR we have returning... I highly doubt he transfers.

I doubt this is true, it's not like he is an out of state kid that wants to move closer to home.

however his buddy Nuke no longer here might cause him to look elsewhere. remember they were Florida Committs then both switched. Highly unlikely but you never know whats going on in a young mans head.

There will be some defections, unfortunately... I hope not, but that seems the norm anytime there is a coaching change... I don't think it will be as bad as when Kiffbiaaatch was running them off right and left, but one would have to think at least a couple will move on...

With that being said, Teague is a homestate kid, so I really don't see him transferring unless it is for academic issues... JMO...

Did notice that everyone on TOS said it was BS before you posted it here?

If there is no mention of it anywhere other than a random poster, then why on earth give it any creedence? Why perpetuate it? This is one of bad aspects of these boards..,

Anyone that takes any post on GVX seriously needs to be bound and dragged on a cross country trip behind a Semi.

Teague would be a great DB and was in high school if I remember correctly...probably get on the field faster that way and get more playing time IMO....a quick kid with hands....good hands.....I trully thought he would end up there under the last regime anyway.

Him and Nuke aren't buddies, Teague hangs out with G. Jones all the time. They are like brothers now. This thread is a fail!

I talked with his brother last week in Nashville. He said that Teague is waiting to see what kind of offense DD will run before he makes his decision to transfer.

I dont know why everybody thinks Teague is a good WR. He didnt do anything against a good defense this year. The fact is we are bringing in stud WR's and he would be waisting his time to stay at WR this year. He may be effective this year at WR but by the time Rogers/ Hunter develop he wont play over them. He'd be best suited to play on the defensive side of the ball where he is needed
