TBA Renovations

I don't want to be a pessimist about the renovations, even though I have ordered the old seats, but, judging by the animation on utsports.com, that's ugly.

The drop down jumbo tron looks nice and the new seats, but the suites are hidious. Can anyone from the top row next to them see the whole court?

Also, can anyone see the whole football field from the top row next to the skyboxes at Neyland?

Can they renovate the outside so it doesn't look like tan corduroys or the cross-section of a cardboard strip?

I like everything but the boxes. Too big for an arena. Maybe put them around the middle between the upper and lower decks. Maybe I am just upset I can't afford one:ermm:

Ha ha ha, It'd be good if they put them on both sides at the top behind the basket, but that wouldn't be "premium seating." I still think that they need to move the student section behind both baskets instead of the stupid setup they have now.

if you go to utsports.com, and click on the "Photo Galleries" link on the left side, there is a photo gallery of the construction inside TBA. It's very weird to see it bare like that.

I'd love to have a couple of the old seats, but the $75 shipping fee makes the total cost rather prohibitive for a grad student. If I lived in Knoxville, I'd do it.

I agree. The set up is good. I think the architect had the Phillips Arena in mind.

I was at the USC in Columbia this past year and the arena there was nice, although very empty. It looks somewhat like the new and improved Tommy Bowl
