They painted some and the stands are taken out where the luxury boxes are going.

Yeah, but its going to be weird having a practice facility that's nicer than the actual arena. Maybe we can work on the outside of the Tommy Bowl next, make it look less like a big mobile home.

That is definitely true. TBA is an eyesore. They need to re-do the outside with brick or something. UT went through a phase of building really ugly buildings, not just athletic but dorms and classroom buildings.

Does anyone know if they are putting an LED board around the entire arena?

I heard that would happen down the line, although I think it would be awesome to have it done for the big unveiling of the "new" TBA this season.

HOWEVER...on SportsTalk the other day, they had a UT official on that said LED ribbon board was in the works (ahead of schedule) for Neyland THIS year.:rock:
