These announcers are awful lol. No way that’s a peel back block or targeting. It was clearly a shoulder to the chest.

Yes, that stench will eventually fade. UT Football has had its' share of stinkers over the years...and so has every other SEC and FBS team. We only remember the ones that hit close to home.

For me, the stench of Butch Jones and Jeremy Pruitt will last longer than the memory of any given game they coached and lost. Every coach, at some point, has an inexplicable loss on their resume'. Saban, Smart, Meyer, Fulmer, Jimbo, etc. all have at least one. And so it will be, at some point, for CJH. The trick is to make it an outlier on your coaching record, and not an indication of just how incompetent you really were when you had to succeed on your own merit.

Georgia State is a fart in an elevator. Jeremy Pruitt is a turd on a space heater. Whole different levels of stench.

Go Vols.

What are the odds the announcers mention the Tennessee/Georgia State game from 2019?

Ga State almost beat Auburn this year leading for nearly the entire game. Refs made a terrible wrong call near the end of the game giving Auburn just enough of a gift that they were able to pull off a miracle and win.

Refs made sure that wouldn’t happen.

The announcers kept making a big deal about the Ball State qb staying for 5 years. From what I saw, he's not very good.
