Tauren Poole has been a class act until last night. He came to work and gave 100% everyday. He has never had an attitude and he did not have one last night.

However, he was upset and rightfully so.

Tauren Poole outplayed both freshman RB's in fall camp and was the 2nd back until the week of the W. Kentucky game. No one knew how the carries would be split up. After that game, Poole was told why he had fallen to bottom and the reasons were unfair. He was told to stick it out and he has done just that. Giving his all on special teams every week and still working his butt off in practice.

Many of the players feel that Poole is getting a raw deal but that's just the way things work.

Last night just seemed to have been the last straw for Poole. I guess he felt that sending him in with 1:50 left in the game (I know because I looked at the clock when Kiffin came to him) was embarassing. Maybe that was how he felt.

However, I just wanted to let you know that Tauren has been a great kid and he DOES have the talent to compete with the other backs. He should be getting more carries but HE knows why he isnt and it is not fair to him.

I am not sure if Poole will be here past this season, but please don't bash the kid. Just wish him luck with whatever decision he decides to make.

Were you there to confirm this?? Did you see Kiffin's grading system to confirm this as well?? Your speculating as much as the others. Nothing really different here. Poole will not be here next season, IMO. He maybe a great back somewhere, but it won't be here. Also, if he is such a great back, don't you think he would be playing?? Same argument with the QB situation 4 weeks ago, and you see how that's working out right?? Stephens proved why he is on the bench right now with that stupid pick with no one open. He tries to force things instead of being smart.

This team is full of Fulmer recruits. You're telling me he's just picking on Poole? I'm still not buying it.

No bashing here I am a poole fan I wish him the best. I understand how it feels to be sent into the game with only 1min left. It is more of a slap in the face then anything. his best bet is to transfer if he wants to play ball though.

I would wager that Poole is not better than Oku or Brown because if he were, he would get playing time.

Poole should be getting carries. He's always produced. Just not enough carries out there. Too bad. He's a stud and deserves better.

The only regular starter on either side of the ball who wasn't a Fulmer recruit is Janzen Jackson.

You have no idea if Im speculating or not. You have no idea who I am. I may be wrong. However, I DO know what Poole was told by Kiffin and Gran after the W. Kentucky game on why he is behind the freshmen.

I'm not saying that I believe it either, thats just what they told me, Perhaps it has to do with BB and Oku getting so much publicity in recruiting and CLK wanting to push freshmen playing time...I mean you see what happened with Nuke when he didn't get his PT

Then prove it, or stop speculating. That's pretty simple, or at least say that your no more informed than the rest of us on this board in accordance to coaching decisions that this staff makes.

If he refused the playing time he will probably not ever see the field here again. Just from my point of view the few times I have seen him he has a bit of a thug-ish attitude. In the Bama game I thought he was close to getting us a penalty by the way he would conduct himself after the play was over on kick off coverage. He may get the Warren treatment this week.

That would explain why Coach Kiffin has Eric Berry sitting on the bench instead of playing

I found myself looking for him too....that is one thing I do not understand, why does he not play? I was looking for him to come in and show some stuff.....:dunno:

LOL I have nothing to prove to you. You can read my post or not. That is your decision. Depending on what Poole decides, it will come out. I will not do that to Poole, the team, staff, or the coaches at this time.

That is a surprise to me. I have not seen that side. Tauren doesn't curse, smoke, or even drink and he tries to live by the book. He is still a young man though.

Look, I know people on here that are connected to the coaching staff and players. They have made no such mention of what you are claiming. If you have first hand knowledge of the decisions of this coaching staff, then you are either a player or a manager of some kind. Back up your argument, if you can.

I'm sure he has, but the whole "I know why the coaches are doing what they are doing" speculation without any meat to it, just an "Trust me" attitude, isn't something I am willing to accept. If I hear this from someone that I trust with info like this, then that's fine and I will eat my crow.

So wait, your telling me that I can either take your speculation or ignore it?? Man, those are some strong words for a message board brother. I know some of these guys behind the screen names on here that let me know things, and I trust them. Those that give me an ultimatum about what to do with their info and it being right or not isn't something that makes me want to trust them. I've seen numerous people that have done the same thing you are doing and then been proven wrong. So, please, either step up or just admit that you are speculating like the rest of us. It's not a bad thing to speculate at all, in fact, that's the whole thing with message boards. So, like I said, I'll eat crow if what your saying is correct.

I didnt say I know "for sure" why they are doing what they are doing. I am saying that I KNOW what Poole was told by THEM (Kiffin and Gran) for why they are doing it.
