For example, I played basketball 4 years in high school. I'm sure there are numerous others here that played sports as well. Overall, we lost more games than we won. I think we could have been better coached, and think there were legitimate issues that could have been fixed. I still love my school and the basketball program with all my heart. I'd support it anyway that I could. If I could have gone back and played somewhere else, I wouldn't. I'm sure others could share similar stories.

I bet if Poole hit the holes better this year, he wouldn't have said that.

I really like TP, but a quote like that proves that there wasn't any leadership in the locker room this year.

Did your school have 3 coaches in 4 years? Did your school lose half its talent to attrition/criminal issues? Did you even choose your HS?

Though you think your situation makes you familiar with Poole's, it doesn't.

I'm not saying they're directly analogous. But, I can tell you without any hesitation that I would still support it with all my heart. Yes, I had different options on where I could go. That doesn't make me some kind of great person. It makes me someone that appreciates something instead of only being a self-centered prick.
