If Poole really said that, then I think a lot of the problems on this team came from the lack of senior leadership.

Amen to that. Poole ran like he never wanted to be here anyway. Much as I hate to say it, Kiffin was probably right about him. Time to move on.

Poole is an idiot.. Terrible RB. Can't cut, break tackles.. Reason why Kiffin dropped him to the bottom of the roster.

-Tauren Poole Today

Contrast that with Wes Brown

Those two quotes exemplify the difference between a and a leader.

If he actually said this, then it's good the season is over and we can start cutting all the bad fruit off of the tree.

Of course he was. Kiffin may be a punk, but he knows his football. He was exactly where he should have been on the depth chart.

If Poole really said this, he needs to be told to keep his mouth shut.

Lost all respect for Tauren with that quote.

Why?

He played for 3 coaching staffs, managed to be on two of the worst teams in Tennessee history and still stuck around.

I get why he's frustrated. Hindsight is 20/20. I doubt he ever gets a job in Knoxville though.

I would much rather him be honest than lie about it.

I probably have more respect for him for saying that than giving some canned "My time was great here" nonsense.

Poole's leadership was as inefficient as his ability to contribute on the field. Now, he chooses to bash the program after his career has been over for 3 days. Great guy.
