"Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."Most people who go with the intent to get drunk will continue to get drunk before the game and continue to sneak it in. They won't pay the price associated with the purchase in the stadium. I for one am also a "Christian, (referring to previous Christian post)." I really don't think my Lord has a problem with me drinking a beer or two or three on a hot summer day.
Entirely agree as never noticed a behavioral differences of our fans when UT plays at NFL stadiums or Battle of Bristol for that matter.I meant not selling beer leads to less moderation (i.e., people slamming beers/liquor before leaving the tailgate because they know they won't be able to get any for 4 hours, or sneaking airplane bottles inside and slamming those during the game because you need to do it discreetly).
Selling alcohol during the games would probably lead to more moderation, because people know they can buy beers inside.

That's easy enough. One beer per ID at any time. .... Cut off sales at the end of the 3rd quarter.I’m in favor of it but they need to set some sort of limit on how many drinks each person is allowed to drink. It’s not the NFL where more adults attend those games. More kids go to college games and that should be taken into account.
My first post.... I'm a Christian so I know I'm already a minority, but I wouldn't support this at all. If they want to increase revenue and attendance then win games. Like another has said, it's allready snuck in but is kept at bay. I'll not be taking my kids if they do.
The smoking ban has nothing to do with pollution. No one wants to sit behind the guy sucking down 2 packs before half timeNo smoking - no drinking
Alcohol at games is a bad idea-bad behavior.
The idiots that put a smoking ban in place, encourage people to drive to the games. Each of these automobiles pollute millions of times more than someone smoking a cigar or cigarette outdoors.
Idiots! Who are these people?.
Right there is one of those idiots. This guy probably drove his 18 foot long Suburban or diesel truck to the game. The smoking ban has nothing to do with pollution. No one wants to sit behind the guy sucking down 2 packs before half time
Lol... So what if he drove a tank to the game? Nobody wants to endure some random dude's Marlboro habit from 18" away with nowhere to go.Right there is one of those idiots. This guy probably drove his 18 foot long Suburban or diesel truck to the game.
I would love to tell you what I think of you and all the "do gooders" out there. I cannot post it here.
You cannot be serious. A joke, right?.Lol... So what if he drove a tank to the game? Nobody wants to endure some random dude's Marlboro habit from 18" away with nowhere to go.
Exhaust fumes smell better. You cannot be serious. A joke, right?.
Willing to bet there are many idiot "do gooders" in this crowd.
What happened to common sense?. You people are comparing the exhaust fumes from large gas hog vehicles to someone smoking a cigarette out side?. Unbelievable!.
Do you people vote?.
Right there is one of those idiots. This guy probably drove his 18 foot long Suburban or diesel truck to the game.
