I get it stinks, and I know the backstory, but seriously no need for the title. I'm pretty sure the kid didn't want his future to turn out like this.
Fair, I was actually intending it to be tongue-in-cheek but that doesn't convey well over the internet lol. No worries, I hope he can get back ASAP and help out!

Tanner, get well soon! Keep working to gain that degree/education. I’ll keep you and your family in my prayers. There have been many who hung in there, followed doctor’s orders, and made it back to game form.

VolQuest.com - Vols in-state OL out indefinitely

Not sure if this has been posted but apparently 3* Tanner Antonutti is out indefinitely. Sucks for OL Depth.
He wasn’t gonna factor into OL depth this year. We have bodies, actually a handful of pretty talented players and arguably the best OLineman in the SEC in Trey. Hopefully Friend gets them playing together and over their collective heads.

Well barring a disaster like last season, this would have been a redshirt season for him but this sets back how much he can gain from S&C until the injury is resolved..

Wasn't he going to redshirt anyway? He obviously needs to add some weight.

He had some sort of medical condition that caused him to drop a considerable amount of weight. So yeah, I believe he is the member of the freshman class most likely to redshirt anyway. But I think he was well enough to practice until this back issue came up.

Could’ve used him as a blocking TE. Most of butchs guys were about 220-235 LB. Pruitt wants his 250+.

Wood-Anderson at 254, Blakley at 263, Bumphus at 260....actual tight ends with more athletic ability. We’re good imo.
I hope so, but I haven’t heard of Blakely and Bumpus getting much PT, and figured it was due to blocking.
