Every guy on the panel of Talkin' Football says that the Vols "won't be focused" going into the Chick-Fil-A bowl because of the coaches leaving, recruiting issues, etc.

Schlabach even had the nerve to say "Tennessee has better players, VT has better coaches". :realmad:

All 4 picked Virginia Tech. Said they would basically run all over us.

Thoughts?

Good lord, that has to be the slowest moving, most deliberate sports talk show, I'm surprised I can stay awake listening to those drooling buffoons.

If anything all of this negative publicity may fire the players up even more. Kiffin will turn it into motivation. I think we may have a better chance as the underdog.

So what else is new?? That group of idiots never have anything good to say about us. Besides VT is #11 in the country, what do you expect them to say? When we shove the ball down their throat and finish 8-5 and Peach Bowl Champs, then we'll see what those D-bags say. I also cant wait till 2-3 years down the road when we are ompeting in the SEC and nationally and watch these so called experts change their tune!! GO VOLS!!!

When was the last time coaches left?

The 2007 Season which resulted in a 21-17 win against Wisconsin in the 2008 Outback Bowl. Coaches leaving does not mean anything. If that is the case, I guess the Bearcats will pull an upset shocker at the Sugar because Charlie Strong is leaving.

Yeah i thought about it. Coaches leaving, (supposed) recruiting scandals and our stinky Georgia dome record. I can see why they like tech in this game.
