This takes me back. I had a connection to the person who controlled the sideline headsets while Fulmer was here. All heresay, but based on what I was told, if the fan base heard it, he would as hated as Dooley and Butch.

Prob true. I've always wondered if a home school has ever tapped those headsets of the visiting school. It would be beyond easy to do. And the value in play calling would be elite!

said Pruitt went ballistic on everyone after the Georgia game, players, other coaches, staff etc
Bottom fell out after needless to say. Nobody liked him in short & all afraid of him.

Tfwiw but its true
The wheels did come off after that game. But he should have benched JG and we could have pulled off the upset. Should have been mad at himself

Have y’all noticed how FULMER gets a pass in all this. He was the AD and he watched the football program burn and did nothing. Cornbread is not the only one complicit in all this mess.
Phil was lining his pockets while cornbread burned the program down.

Right. I think those excusing Pruitt are missing the point. He went off... on everyone else. He said the "right things" publicly but the fact that he refused to change his style of play or QB decision handcuffed the people he blamed.

Hasn't gotten a pass from me. I've pointed out for years, how certain actions of his have hurt the program, while securing himself and his family millions of dollars. Many of the Fulmer sheep are coming to the realization I was right all along. That clown is a POS.

This is exactly why we are in this mess, if you don’t hold people responsible for their actions the meddling in the program the backstabbing in the negative influencer will continue. We need to make a clean sweep retire Philip to his skybox let him know he is not to interfere in anyway with what’s happening with the football program.
.

Did you sleep through the last week? Not that was a bad idea, but if you had been awake you may have noticed that’s pretty much what happened.

[QUOTE"zeppelin128, post: 19434067, member: 64298"]I have no idea and am very far from insider status. But something happened in that locker room during UGA halftime. Maybe we will find out some day.[/QUOTE]

I do know we never looked like the same team after the Ga. game. .Up until half time in the Ga. game we looked pretty good, and then afterward, terrible on both sides of the ball.

Fulmer made The Program

No neyland made the program.

Major had it going in the right direction again but his drinking opened the door for Fulmer.

Cut then made the program what it became.

Without Cut, Fulmer sucked and got fired.

It's why Cut was still coaching years after Phil couldn't get a job anymore.

If true, our team is soft. “I don’t like Coach Pruitt, he is a big meanie.” “He yelled at us and wants us to do our job.” “No one has ever yelled at me or held me accountable before because I am special and talented.”

Pruitt is to blame for the dumpster fire but our soft ass team is too. Do you think Nick Sabin yells?

I would agree if Pruitt took ownership of HIS part in the debacle (and who knows, maybe he did). But the HC Bears some of the responsibility if he keeps putting in the players laying said eggs all over the field.

he should have been looking in the mirror and going ballistic on the person who was responsible for the debacle.
