Unless you're going to name names these threads need to just be deleted. Just random posters trying to feel like they are in the know spreading information no one can confirm.
Its the 2020's, no one needs to name sources to fling sh!t on the wall and see what sticks. Thats Internet Insider 101 taught in Atlanta at Schmuck State..tifwitjsmhowtfk's

He learned his management style from Saban. At least Pruitt waits to get into the locker room before exploding rather than the sidelines.

Face it,.....JG and violations brought down Pruitt

....and SOMEONE ....ANYONE... needed to explode.

Fulmer and every athlete who accepted money and has now bolted for another school. Pruitt likely gets a (deserved) show cause, UT gets (deserved) sanctions. Don’t know about the assistants.

What about accountability for the athletes, and former AD?
There's a reason Pruitt is going to the NFL. I believe he knows he is about to get it from the NCAA.

He's leaving somewhat humiliated though. He failed to stay on top off his A-game after coach Cut departed. UT boosters can make or break you and I think DW can handle it. We needed that cultural break bigtime.

As I remember it, those here who questioned Phil's hiring as AD were insultingly yelled down. Too many VN peep are like a mob, hurrahing one day and then bringing out a rope when something goes against them.

I didn't have a problem with Fulmer as the interim but when he signed an extension, I questioned that. If the OP is actually doling out information that is true, that could explain why the team looked so dysfunctional the rest of the season. Could be that he lost the team right then if true.

i would've too. they had that game, then laid an absolute EGG the second half

needless to say, the Heupel era has started on RockyTop

I mean he is the coach, so on field performance ultimately falls on him. If someone legit isn't doing their job correctly, then yeah call them out. But more than that, show them how to do it right. That's what good leaders do.

Blaming others is something losers do.

I have no idea and am very far from insider status. But something happened in that locker room during UGA halftime. Maybe we will find out some day.

Yes, during halftime they (coaches) decided to continue with Gitmo at QB.......and everything fell apart from that point forward.

I agree. I also don't think Pruitt was even the same guy in 2020 as he was in 2019. In 2019 he showed fire on the sidelines. He looked passionate and completely involved, especially on the defensive side he would be screaming at the defense what play was coming. In 2020 he looked drugged up and aloof. I think that somewhere along the line he just got burnt out on being a head coach. He's one heck of a DC but he'll never be more than that.

I doubt it was that. If I had to take a guess, I reckon the coaches got into it with each other in front of the players. This culminated with Brum eventually getting the heave ho.

I think the guy had anger issues, lack of organizational and leadership skills, and possibly ethics issues if we indeed paid players... good riddance

It will be interesting to find out if he directed in any way the acts that make up the violations, assisted in trying to cover them up, or just turned a blind eye. On his watch regardless, but would like the facts.
