Maybe so, but that offense is bulit on the run. Meyer's offense is run first. Similar run/pass ratio to a pro style, just from different formations. Houston's offense is completely different. The air raid offense passes the ball the majority of the time. I have yet to see a team who can't run the ball win in the SEC. Here are some Houston stats from this year compared Meyer's last year at Florida
Houston
546 pass attempts (59%)
373 rush attempts (41%)
10' Florida
381 pass attempts (43%)
504 rush attempts (57%)
If the OP is correct, I will vomit. Dooley deserves more time. He is bringing in good talent. He inherited a very bad football team with no depth. Not to mention that he lost his best offensive weapon, Hunter, early in the season and his starting QB for over a month. Some of you are tired of hearing Dooley comment about youth and inexperience. Well, let me clue you in on something, it is a legitimate excuse...it is a fact! What the hell do you people expect him to do in two years? Sure, they lost to UK, which is pretty bad, but I don't see the sky falling. I am anticipating a vast improvement next year. Hart better step up and get Dooley's back or our hopes for a strong close in recruiting could suffer. I can't believe how quickly "fans" have jumped ship. It is outright embarrassing.
I saw 1.8M in 2010. May I ask where you found that? (not doubting you, just wondering).
I saw it on ESPN, I'll see about getting a link for it.
We are not getting Bret Bielema.
Do I need to say period?
Tennessee is better but it's not happening. If he leaves, it's for an elite school or the NFL.
