How badly placed is the bye week after Wyoming? Wouldn't everyone just as soon end this season ASAP?

Not bad at all considering it looks like this team will need nothing short of a miracle to beat Vandy

You seem to be forgetting Vanderbilt lost to a team Tennessee routed. The next three opponents are every bit as lousy as we are.

I never thought that I would want football to end. This season is like a very well written episode of the Twilight Zone.

You guys should have beaten AU.It hurts me so much to say AU may be the worst team in the SEC..

I vote for the fork. Stick it in, we're done. I know alot of people have said their piece, but NOW, I finally do not care if we lose, get blown out, or blow these last 3 teams out(yea, right). I will not allow myself to be hurt anymore this year, or until we get a new coach. I want to forget that it is football season, except for the Titans.

Absolutely. The sooner the season ends, the sooner we can fire Fulmer and get a real coaching staff in here.

to paraphrase Jim Mora - BOWL GAME??!!??

No, we have no business in a bowl game, I don't want to see us in one personally (especially not whatever crap game we'd end up in) and, based on our performance to date, the chances of us winning 3 games in a row are practically zilch.

I actually think that having a bye week might make it easier to make a move before the end of the season. That is assuming that the UT administration doesn't want to fire Fulmer the week of homecoming and would like to give the interim coach (Chavis) a chance to regroup for the last two games. Also, do you realize that the last two times we have fired a coach were in the same month that a democrat was elected president? How is that for symmetry? Face it Fulmerites. He is gone, it is meant to be.

Quite frankly, if we should somehow be bowl eligible, we should not accept. It is not deserved, nor likely to happen.

The only way I would want to see us in a bowl is if we had a new coach at the helm. It's moot, anyway. We aren't going to get the 6 wins to make one.

Actually, in this day of restricted fall and spring practices it is important to have a bowl game............but not for a coaching staff like we have. They would only have more time to get the team worse.

The best case sernario would be for UT to fire Fulmer between now and the open date, begin the national search for a new coach, win out and go to a minor bowl.
