Bryant's grave is lying under a big hickory nut tree next to Mary Harmon, and like other's have said, her folks.

When I was there, the hickory nuts were on the ground so I picked up three. I now rub my nuts throughout all bama games. Seems to work.

Dude, we have let it go. WTH is wrong with going by just because I've never been? I'm planning a trip to Washington DC in a few weeks too. I thought about going by and seeing the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument. Should I just forget about those guys too because they're dead...? History is interesting and Bryant is an important part of the history of the football team I've been a fan of since I was 4 years old and watching with my grandfather. Get a life.

because bear bryant is comparable to either one of those people.

no, but i used to have a sample of dirt from his home in arkansas ...

are you serious? knowin a bammer, some idiot probably sold him some dirt and said it was from bears grave.... hey wait a minute, we can get a bunch of random dirt and set up a stand in bama saying its dirt from bear bryants home and make some money?
